There are a couple of possible scenarios. Donny can blame NATO for not paying its fair share and refuse to participate in any defense of Ukraine, or simply send Vlady a Christmas card with a note that says, “Merry Christmas, Ukraine is your present”.

It is much harder to stare down an adversary when he is your business partner and political supporter.

I couldn't care less about Ukraine. It's all between Cossacks. I'm so tired of "Arabs are invading other Arabs" and it's just espected that we should do something. "The russians are invading...other russisns!" and we're suppose to just jump right in. And when it's all said and done we still somehow end up being the bad guy. It's not worth it.

Where does it all leave us? What does it get us? To your point, WW2 ended only about 3/4 of a century ago and yet right now, today, on a global scale, Germany gets more respect than us. As an individual in a foreign country, you'll get more respect saying you're from Germany than you will the US.

It's like you stop a guy from beating his wife, the two of you get in a fight, cops come and they both press charges on you.

The 'Yellow Vested' French protestors have been heard shouting 'We want Trump! We want Trump! I don't believe a German citizen received more respect around the globe than an American.

So someone saying this country is trailing in some areas (which is true) is akin to hate in your mind?

In many ways the US is a mess and is less desirable to live than other countries. Our healthcare is a joke, that alone is a serious concern.

I don't see legitimate American citizens headed out of our country wallstreet. I only see thousands of people from Central and South America trying to gain asylum to our country. The thousands of asylum seekers want their free, American healthcare.

Just a FYI there are more legal citizen TAKERS in our population who do nothing and add to the problems than the illegals wanting to come in and many who will work their butt off to get the opportunity.

You really lack perspective and I guess that is why your group would vote for the big lying dope and actually believe the deception and dishonesty he throws up daily.

My perspective is 100% accurate on this specific issue. Let me try again. I don't see thousands of legitimate American citizens lined up at the Mexican and/or Canadian border in  order to say arrivederci to the United States. We see thousands of Central and South Americans staying in Tijuana waiting for their opportunity to gain asylum in America to receive their free physical and a regimen of vaccines! The 'only' deception and dishonesty is lead by the puppeteers of the Left. I hear it on a daily basis. Russian collusion. Process crimes. 25th amendment.  Impeach 45. We will not give 5b for the wall! The takedown of LTG Flynn. It goes on and on and on.

You are mixing topics....just because people are unhappy with the state of the country does not mean they hate it or do not appreciate the country. 

I think most of us are beyond the blanket "USA is GREAT" mentality you seem to have and know that the country is great with many large flaws and other countries do some things better than we do with regards to taking care of their citizens needs. In some ways the US is so focused on protecting corps and the elite that the little guy gets the shaft, like this joke of a tax reform we are going to be facing in a month.

You can call me an idiot if it makes you feel intelligent, or somehow superior, in an internet chat forum....full of dudes no less. It really just points to how sad of an existence you must have. I could go the route of, "My IQ is this... My SAT score was that..." but why? I don't have anything to prove here.

This is my hypothesis. You all of a sudden care so much about the global political climate because you don't like the President. So everything in his sphere in under intense scrutiny. And i'm not saying that I do like him. What I am saying is that American politics are bullsh*t regardless of who is in office. So I don't get wrapped up in them.

As far as global politics go. Putin is an old KGBer who has had designs on rebuilding the old Soviet Union for some time. This isn't news and predates Trumps Presidency. Am I afraid of this? No. And if it gets so bad, and he's invading countries like Afghanistan and such, we can always just deal with it then by arming and training rebel figh.... Ohhhh, we've been down this road. How did it work out?

I go back to my original point. Maybe, as a country, we need to try the "less involvement" approach. Getting involved in everything has gotten us nowhere.
