 This is just a partisan flip from what Biden did when in office. Trump is making universities choose if they want the federal funding or not and in order to get the funding they have to meet the requirements that the TNC set. Biden did the same thing, strong arm tactics like EV mandates and DEI incentivization. 

If UCLA or Harvard or any institution wants to follow their agenda then they have to do so without federal funding. Its petty and extreme but both sides do it to get what they want. 

What happens when DEI is taken to extremes is the other side reacts in extremes, thats what happened here.
