CNN —
Disgraced former Republican Rep. George Santos
pleaded guilty on Monday to aggravated identity theft
and wire fraud charges stemming from fraudulent activity
during his 2022 midterm campaign.

The republican, with an affinity for LYING - second only
to Donald Trump who himself is also a CONVICTED FELON -
will serve a minimum of two years in prison as part of the
stipulated agreement and pay restitution of $373,000.

His sentencing hearing is set for February 2025.

“I deeply regret my conduct,” Santos said in court Monday.
“I accept full responsibility for my actions.”

Not too surprising that now that this republican has admitted to his crimes of fraud and lies, it shines further light on his previously lies saying that he was innocent of the charges and everyone else was lying about him. Fraud and lies are the MAGA playbook.

A 37-year-old Tennessee man was charged over alleged social media threats against President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Barack Obama, according to a press release from the Department of Justice.

Kyl Alton Hall was indicted Tuesday on two counts of threatening a sitting president or vice president and one count of a threat to a former president. Each charge could carry a penalty of up to five years in prison, according to the DOJ.

So he's facing as much as 10 years but I'll bet they give him less than 3 max

Montana tribal leaders have loudly condemned Sheehy’s recorded remarks, in a race which is crucial to control of the US senate.

have descended upon the town of 58,000 people,
totally destroying their entire way of life.
This was a beautiful community
and now it’s horrible what’s happened,” Trump said.

The Mayor of Springfield was just interviewed on CNN and (I'm paraphrasing his response) he basically said everything above that trump said

is FALSE!

Not just false.  It's a lie!  

Republican Mayor and republican Governor both condemn the rightwing hate speech pushed by Vance and Trump.

   In a stunning admission, JD Vance, said he was willing
“to create stories” on the campaign trail while defending
his spreading false, racist rumors of pets being abducted
and eaten in a town in his home state of Ohio.

     Vance’s remarks came during an appearance on
Sunday on CNN’s State of the Union, where he said
he felt the need “to create stories”

      Asked by the CNN host Dana Bash whether
the false rumors centering on Springfield, Ohio,
were “a story that you created”,
Vance replied, “Yes!”

Two colleges in Springfield, Ohio, have moved to virtual learning after receiving separate threats of a bombing and a potential shooting to their campuses over the weekend.

The closures come amid ongoing fallout from baseless allegations former President Donald Trump made during the second presidential debate that Haitian immigrants in the city are stealing and eating local pets.

Campus police and local law enforcement continue to assess emailed threats that targeted “members of the Haitian community,” the university said in a statement.

wrongly referred to the accidental death of 11-year old
Aiden Clark in a post on social platform X, saying that
“a child was murdered by a Haitian migrant.”

Later that day, Aiden’s father, Nathan Clark,
lashed out at Vance and others he said were
exploiting his son’s death for political gain.

Aiden Clark was killed last year when his school bus
was struck by a minivan driven by a Haitian immigrant
ultimately thrusting Springfield into a vitriolic national
debate over immigration.

“The mayor says there’s no evidence, chief of police
says there’s no evidence, city manager says there
was no evidence. There’s no evidence! There’s no
evidence of this at all!”  DeWine said on NewsNation,
of the assertions that Haitian immigrants are stealing
and eating cats and dogs in the town.

CNN — Mark Robinson, the controversial and socially
conservative Republican nominee for governor of North Carolina,
made a series of inflammatory comments on a pornography
website’s message board, in which he referred to himself as
a “black NAZI!” and expressed support for reinstating slavery, 
a CNN KFile investigation found.

Despite a recent history of anti-transgender and LGBTQ rhetoric,
Robinson said he enjoyed watching transgender pornography,
a review of archived?messages found in which the
Trump endorsee also referred to himself as a “perv.”

Many of Robinson’s comments were gratuitously sexual and lewd in nature.

They were made between 2008 and 2012 on “Nude Africa,” a pornographic website that includes a message board. The comments were made under the username minisoldr, a moniker Robinson used frequently online.

  An internal poll conducted for Trump’s campaign
found Robinson running 14 percentage points behind his Democratic opponent.

An email address belonging to North Carolina Lt. Gov.
Mark Robinson was registered on Ashley Madison,
a website designed for married people seeking affairs.

An adviser to Robinson, granted anonymity to speak freely,
confirmed to POLITICO that the email address in question
belongs to Robinson.

   The discovery of Robinson’s personal email address
on Ashley Madison came as Republicans in North Carolina
cringed after CNN on Thursday uncovered old posts
purportedly made by Robinson on online pornographic forums!
