You think Mexican companies are going to absorb your tax increase?
You're now justifying increasing taxes and increasing Government. You sure you're not a closet liberal? Maybe it's time to come out of the closet LRM.
This is why I've voted Libertarian/Independent the last three elections. You can't tell a true difference between the GOP and the Dems anymore.
we've been saying this for a while now, although i have a slight disagreement with your last line. no one loves big government and wasting money more than the republican party.

On the night Trump was elected, and became official in the wee hours of the morning, the raging cajun came on the air and stated and in complete shock and I will paraphrase.... "people you don't understand Trump owes nobody .....owes nothing" which means a lot. He does not have to return favors.. another commentator stated something rather interesting prior to the election.... those who are politicians and involved in the political field should be scared .... when asked why ? Trump will expose the flaws and abuse of politicians... for good and bad.... we will see but for now let see what he can do... What I don't understand is this.... Why can't we have a leader who actually has s their constituents best interest at heart. All parties have some great views , why not take the best of them all and use that to represent us? I don't get it IT has to be 1 way or the other. Hopefully we get it right before it is too late. To all people of the service I thank you I salute you for dedicating and risking your lives so the people here in this GREAT country of ours can have the privileges the we have. We have the privilege to have the rights.

I thought the real news this week is that Trump and McConnell aren't speaking to each other. Yes, it's no secret that Republicans are actually divided between the time of them. I know plenty of Trump supporters would be fine with a changing of the guard. However, I believe McConnell isn't up for re-election until 2022, which means Trump HAS to work with him to actually pass any kind of meaningful legislation.
I was surprised to hear that because it made me feel, independent of party lines, the Republicans really don't have an actual plan right now and aren't entirely sure what they're going to do, especially since they aren't coordinating with each other. That doesn't particularly instill confidence in me, but I wish I lived in bizarro world so that it wouldn't leave me with low expectations.

Elaine Chow, Trump's Transportation Secretary, also is Mitch McConnell's wife. Perhaps, Mitch owes Donald something on that and will get along in the end.
