Greetings fellow travelers. Been awhile. As you all know I am a proud deplorable who called the election when Lord Trump was 12 pts in the hole after the GOP nomination. And bet it accordingly and kept on betting it (even after the p$ssy grab). How ya doin Walls?

Now that I’ve reminded you of my demonstrably keen political acumen. I feel I should help this forum focus and understand what Mueller is trying to do. Unfortunately but not surprisingly, many of you are awash in fantasies of collusion and Lord Trump being cuffed and stuffed. 

This was never about collusion. The collusion cries from the left are the equivalent to the Birther cries from the right 8 years ago. Both intended to discredit a newly elected president’s credibility.

This is and has been, from the very beginning, about obstruction. And hopefully impeachment. It’s a long shot for sure . But not entirely out of the realm of possibility. I’ll let Andrew McCarthy go from here. 


Because I’m sure you all have been wondering. Tilt has had a great 2017. Whether it be Cryptos, the stock market, the VA Governor’s election, kid #3, or the 83% reduction in refugees. You name it. Tilt is lovin life under our Lord Trump. #MAGA

This is how u motivate all the crazies and zeroes to get out and vote and win control of the House in 2018. Because no GOP controlled House will ever submit articles of impeachment.

TILT, that's a good article that I totally agree with.

This Mueller investigation is just a hit job on Trump, with the hopes of the Dems and some Repubs being that it ends in impeachment.

I was talking with some friends about the guilty pleas from Flynn and Papadopoulus ... and they had obviously been listening to the MSM (or reading this forum) because they thought it was big trouble for Trump.

I explained the way it works if Mueller had solid evidence is that Flynn and Pap would have been charged with a serious offense with major penalties attached to it, then they cut a deal, then they testify against Trump, and then they are given a very lenient sentence.

By charging them only with lying to the FBI, the government has no leverage. (and no evidence)

The MSM reported that the deal is already made. If that is the case, Flynn and Pap could get on the stand and say whatever they want, and the ramifications would be a penalty for lying to the FBI, as opposed to a much more serious penalty for a much more serious crime.

The charges of lying tell you all you need to know.

Mueller has nothing on Trump as of yet ... although I give him an A for effort.

Tilt...I'm sure you're aware that Flynn (& his son) can still be charged with more serious crimes carrying much harsher penalties if he doesn't cooperate fully which will be decided by Mueller. The one charge was all that was needed for Mueller's purposes at this time & was no need for him to show his hand further. 

In terms of obstruction & collusion, etc, the investigation from the start had a full scope to go wherever any related material & the facts led. In terms of the spirit of the law at least, obviously obstruction of justice was committed with Comey. Noone in their right mind could believe that had Comey gone along with Trump in laying off Flynn, that DT would'nt have been singing his praises instead of firing & trying to discredit him in every way possible. Almost the same with collusion or some form of quid pro quo. Given all we know, nobody that's objective or cult-like Trumpist, could believe that didn't take place. We have no idea of all that Mueller already has & will garner going forward...but pretty certain that it's nowhere near the end. If you can get decent odds, you might want to consider puttin a large amt of $$ you won on Trump on him resigning or being impeached & removed. Why not collect on his narcissistic, corrupt & fraudulent behind twice?

We know that Flynn talked to foreign countries, including Russia, with permission from the Obama administration, after the election. 

Very normal.

I have a friend who is a partner in a prestigious Greenwich Ct law firm.
He is a big todo in legal circles. He is also a staunch Democrat.
Your comment on the charges brought by Mueller is in contradiction to what he told me. 

Matter of fact, what I wrote in post #3 regarding the guilty pleas from Flynn and Pap were in part derived from conversations with my lawyer friend. It's not like his view could be biased towards Trump, as he hates the man. 

Also, I am not biased towards Trump, as I think he is an embarrassment, but I have disdain for the MSM, and recognize that they are nothing more then a propaganda machine for the left. 

You mention "obstruction and collusion" ... that would apply to Comey, and members of the team that Mueller has put together, not to mention many, many others from the Obama administration. You are aware of what is going on with Mueller's "impartial and professional" team, right? Just last night another one was found to be blowing a load when Yates defied an order from the POTUS. 

I don't know if Trump colluded with Russia, but I tend to believe that he did nothing more than any other presidential candidate before him has done.

I am 99% certain that HRC, Comey, Obama, and so many others have, and continue to collude against Trump in an effort to get him out of office. 

The left (and MSM) are on an expedition to find something, anything on Trump.

Meanwhile, HRC gets her server subpoenaed, and in response she bleaches her server and smashes numerous cell phones ... and the conclusion by the government was "no foul here"  

It is worth repeating another time ... forget Russia, forget everything you are being fed by the MSM ...
The fact is that the sole reason that Trump is the POTUS is because HRC was his opponent. And the Dems are to blame for that, because if not for "collusion", Bernie might have beaten her

What would prevent me most likely from making a bet like that, is that in the end he has the power to pardon. This is Lord Trump.  He is a survivor if anything at all. He may very well end up pardoning everyone if the fire gets too close. If more comes out abut muellers team being compromised etc. Also the obstruction charge is going to be difficult as he is the chief executive and the power that gives him. Essentially he is the chief law enforcement officer. If Dems win congress next year, then we got a whole diff story.

This much is for sure. Flynn is dirty af.

Historically hard to impeach Presidents.  For examples, Nixon and Clinton.  More likely casualties are surrounding people who have their public careers ruined.  So far, unusual high turnover rate among Trump's staff for jobs that are normally secure.

Well it’s become quite clear now that the only collusion was between the Clinton Campaign and Obama’s DOJ.  So now with the witch hunt falling apart, the utterly pathetic Dems will now try the sexual harassment route. You’d think if they were on the right side of the issues they would press that avenue. Oh wait they’re not. So they can’t.

That's pretty amusing. The only gaslighting & false narrative going on now is Trump & his minions (& sadly now among unprincipled & purely partisan folks in Congress) is this attack & attempt to discredit Mueller & the FBI. It's been Trump's MO thruout his whole career & only shows how self-centered & fearful he & his admin cohorts/fam is about what's to come. My guess is Trump will eventually be impeached & removed and then possibly ace other serious charges. We'll see..

The essential trait necessary to accurate political analysis or (anysort of decision making)is the capablilty of removing your own innate bias from your analysis. You should re-read this over and over again and let it sink in. You might actually be able to profit from it someday. Plenty to criticize Trump with, but no question whatsoever this Russia BS is a total witchhunt... I don't watch mainstream news at all. Its bought and paid for. And it will brainwash you, and it has done nothing but make our domestic politics infinitely worse. You have two sides who live in two different realities...do yourself a favor and seek out independent news sources, they are out there.

Watched the video....Trey Gowdy ranting at Rosenstein & you think that partisan BS has anything to do with anything at all? Are you a Sir God Trump addict or just lacking in basic common sense & logic? Hard to tell though over the yrs, thought you were at least fairly intelligent & perceptive.

Not getting into much further other than to say Mueller's investigation is farthest thing possible from a witch hunt & all Americans should welcome it & want it to be as thorough as possible. Then let the facts & findings fall where they may & speak for themselves. Some of the BS coming from Trump's minions/lemmings reminds me a touch of an old Dana Carvey skit during the OJ trial..."Frame OJ, frame OJ, etc 

Trump has been a manipulative fraud & clever salesman from the beginning & in the end, hopefully that will be shown so clearly that even Repub leaders will have no choice but to find some integrity & acknowledge it.

The entire cabal is in the process of coming down. I will give Sessions a pass for now hoping he is quietly doing his job as AG. The FBI test messages are the smoke that will lead to the cleansing of the DOJ and FBI.

Just want to get to the truth & facts about all that took place. Just as I'd hope any citizen that values our democracy would. Imo, there must be hiding &/or a coverup of serious wrongdoings most likely warranting impeachment if not crimes that are prosecutable. Nothing else makes much sense. We'll see...I'm thinking offenses like tax fraud/evasion, conspiracy/collusion, money laundering & perjury will eventually come into play in a big way. Btw, I never was a fan of Hillary or Bill either, but did vote for Clinton because I felt Trump would be far worse.

If you ask me, the answer is always the same: follow the money. With Washington scum, it is always all about the money. What do the Clintons, the Bush Family, Mueller, Obama and the rest of DC have in common ? K Street money. Infinitely more important than elected office. Three guesses where Paul Ryan is headed next year. Do you think he's going home to do charity work ? He's headed for K Street, where all of the greedy, DC scum go to cash in. They're all playing the same game. The problem for all of them is that Trump doesn't need the K Street Crime/Lobbying money. He's not planning on cashing in there after his "public service." He's really messing up their status quo, cashing in, game plan. If that formula becomes obsolete, there are going to be a lot of bitter, unhappy members and former members of Congress. They might even have to work for a living. And let's face it: if they can't lobby/buy off their former colleagues in the legislature, what are they qualified to do ? Nothing.
