Media and Left Likely Cause of the Rise in Hate Crimes

If their was citizens engaged enough to prevent the mayham they won't bother. It is bot their business attitude cause they aren't the pigs it their job. Criminals do not obey the law. More gun laws seem like the easy fix. And most America in their shut a get attitude like some magic wand to stop this violence. But it isn't simple as another law. It about protecting yourself and loved ones with a gun. NRA spokesmen states this best. The best defense for a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. But I am sure liberals will blame guns. Cause it seems an easy fix. Rewrite the constitution.... Pointless but appealing rhetoric and food sound bite material. You know what protects congress and the Senate. Weopons..... Not words. So exception lists we can have except them .... Just another pointless bull load dumped like manna from heaven.

A hate crime is a hate crime when the sole motive of said crime is some personal aspect of the victim. And that's what makes them hard to define. It's hard to prove motive. You can't read minds. If a black guy robs you, and calls you a cracka while doing it, it doesn't necessarily make it a hate crime. He's just robbing you. He probably robbed a black guy before he got to you. Now if that same guy, for no apparent reason, walks up to an openly happy guy and starts beating him, calling him slurs while doing it, hate crime. So you can hide behind different interpretations of data, ect but chances are that actual hate crimes are on the rise. And Presidential Rhetoric may contribute to it. The general angst and lack of empathy of this lost generation definitely contributes to it. And per the OP, the media definitely contributes to it. Let's pull back and look at a different issue under the same lense. School shooters. School shootings definitely have spiked since Columbine. I posit that the media's coverage of Columbine, and subsequent shootings, has contributed to said spike. So called "copy cats". So why does the media make these things 24/7 news stories. Is it because the country needs to be informed? They'd have you believe that. These networks are for profit companies though. And everything they do comes back to ratings and money. They are therefore profitting from exploiting tragedies, inspiring copycats, and then ecploiting the subsequent tragedy that results. The are complicit in crimes.

Back to the media. Don't you think they inspire hate crimes by the way they report them? This is only the tip of the ice berg though. The real way the media contributes to hate crimes is by fanning the flames of divisiveness and tension. And it's not just along racial lines. It's political lines. Religion. Sexual preference. They literally have heterosexual men and women hating each other. The media is f*cked people. Not just the mainstream media, the media is f*cked. We need to tune out.

The laws that traditionally govern public discourse are all out of whack. Theories like Overtons Window, Foot in the Door and so on really dont apply anyore. 

Information is weaponized by the left and right. The left controls most of the traditional media and have a stranglehold on social media. The media will under report violence towards those on the right, while over reporting any  violence towards the left. Take the case of ANTIFA,  CNN has repeatedly justified their actions. The same network spent days vilifying the Covington kids, portraying them as agressors and racists even though they had video evidence which clearly showed them as being the passive participants.

This imbalance of reporting by traditional media players is percieved by an uninformed public as being factual. This triggers the outrage mobs on social media and ipso facto you have a race war on your hands.  

Now elected officials are involved in inciting these mobs, Maxine Waters and the like. It is a recipe for disaster. If I were in the USA, on the right, I would be carrying/packin/strapped.

People need to educate themselves and stop worhsipping social media figures, don't take moral cues from celebrities. Get off Facebook and Twit.

Having grown up in NYC I've been exposed to this POS for years when he was stiffing local businesses. So I guess you can say I've disliked him for many many years. He's a con man who stole from his own charity. What kind of man does that?

Finally, I don't like his lies & deceit. I will accept any new president like I have in the past except for this fraud. This POS has to go.
