It seems that these come up all the time these days. Too many times to report. Isn't it ironic when people who claim to be fiscally conservative and for over a decade has railed against wasteful government spending decides that he needs to fly a private on at least 24 separate occasions.
hypocritical at the core

he paid the bill out of pocket for 58 g. dr price at least made restitution.
apparently, he paid about $50,000 of a $400,000 bill.
but i'm sure the government would give people like us the same consideration. misappropriate a bunch of money/services, get caught, pay a fraction of it back and then get on with your day.

What are you talking about? I am not saying anything about trump or impeaching him. I am just pointing out incredible hypocrisy that appears to be rampant with one group. Remember I am a nonpartisan independent. I have no bias here.

In 2014, Holder, while attorney general, boarded a government-owned Gulfstream and flew to the Belmont Stakes Thoroughbred horse race in New York with his daughters, their boyfriends and two security officers.
Does this example qualify under the principle?

It may. But my initial lean is that it does not apply. I will do some reading into this and get back later on. Probably good to get some feedback here from clubdirt

maybe. need more information, about this trip and comments holder may have made about government waste, etc.
the mattbrot principle is about flagrant hypocrisy, particularly in government. i.e. government official talking about how we need to eliminate government waste and then as soon as he gets the opportunity, raping the taxpayers by flying all over the place on a private jet. or the classic case of a government official talking about "family values" and the like, which is the reddest of red flags, and then getting busted with a kid or whatever deviant sh*t those people do on a routine basis.
it can't just be about government abusing its power or f*cking people over because that happens too often.

Trump only hires the best people LOL! Don't worry, he's going to make sure that government waste is a priority while he's golfing. Sheesh, people are dumb.

The Massachusetts elementary school librarian who rejected Dr. Seuss books donated by First Lady Melania Trump because the publication’s artwork contained “racist mockery,” was previously photographed dressed as the Cat in the Hat and holding a “Green Eggs and Ham” themed breakfast.
I like this game.
Found one....

Here's a picture of the liberal hypocrite librarian who rejected Melania's book
donation because Dr. Seuss'ser poems are 'steeped in racist stereotypes' .....
Proof,, that liberalism and hypocrisy go hand in hand...and that one cannot be a liberal without being a hypocrite......

maybe, but the idea is to point out hypocrisy by people with significant positions in government, or potentially other significant people (i.e. presidents, cabinet members, congress, governors, federal judges, and the like). i have no idea who the f*ck this MA librarian is or what she's done or what books she has in her library.
