Obama campaigned on ending 2 wars. He went on to bomb 6 countries and end 0 wars.

On another note I read that the CDC recreated the Spainish Flu virus in their labs in 2005. They used lung tissue from a woman who died of the 1918 flu and was buried in perma-frost preserving the virus. They experimented on mice and was impressed on how it killed mice in two days.

Anybody who thinks covid didn't come from a lab is dumber than hell. 

The NYT was taking a shot at Israel when they said "some scientists" say too much vacine may hurt.

A NYT 49 yr old Asian editor died of a heart attack 24 hours after getting a booster.

Nice to see more and more of this coming out now.  Even though it is late, it should at least absolve some of the ‘canceled’ experts at the time that were raising concerns.

Just wait and the truth catches up.  This was one of the many personal  sticking points cause the data was there early that this could be an issue.

 What medicine doesn’t have side affects or possible down sides! With the information available and my MD at the time indicated it was the worth taking I took the initial 2 injections of Pfizer and I’m no less healthy than 5 years ago! Older yes but alive having had Covid Twice “ 1st being the worse”  I’m fine! …Both administrations endorsed the vaccines, Trumps also supported opinion on alternatives.

  Yessir.  But when you have something that has not been properly studied you cannot fully assess  the side effects and determine accurately whether the risk/reward is proper.  
   For sure, since you are older, you were in a higher risk group and the vaccine seemed to adversely affect other groups more than your group.  This was suppressed and not made fully available to the public or even the medical industry.  So, how can doctors and patients make an accurate determination if the reward outweighed the risk.  
   Then you couple this with the misinformation being spread by the ‘experts’ about how bad the Wuhan Flu was and how deadly it was, you then scare folks in to taking something not fully studied and not needed for all groups of people.  
   To have policy, more or less, set by non-elected folks with an agenda by forcing folks to take an unproven vaccine, with undetermined side effects, was simply awful and a very bad look.  Certainly both administrations touted the vaccine because they were handcuffed into having to believe the ‘experts’ once the other experts that were calling for caution were silenced.  
   Even if you make the argument that the vaccine was largely effective on the original strain; it was no longer effective on the ones that followed, so why still force it on folks.  Any non-expert understands that flus mutate and even the seasonal shots are guesswork at that because the previous one is no longer going to work.

So, just because other vaccines, or medicines, have been proven to have side effects but are long term worth taking does not mean every vaccine or medicine is worth taking.

There are enough examples or vaccines and medicines being withdrawn for this very reason to warrant caution—especially with a new technology altogether.

@Raiders22  But the government has never primarily considered the health of is citizens in regards to the Big picture! Just look at Dow chemical and there special mixture of blend of 2,4-D and 2,4,5-T also known as agent orange they new the stuff was deadly but for years put anyone and everyone in exposure range and then tried to deny it! That government for you!

It was worse then that. Delta overwhelmed the vaccinated in the UK and the UK told the world on July 19, 2021. Two days later Biden was in a CNN townhall saying you will not get COVID if vaccinated. Then Psaki held a White House briefing saying COVID was 99% the unvaccinated showing data from Jan 1. January was the worst month for COVID by far and the vaccine rollout had just begun. The whole thing was purposely misleading. Delta was detected in Texas in May. They had to have known Delta would get by the vaccine yet seemed more worried about getting shots out than telling the truth. About 6 days after Biden's false statements the CDC told the vaccinated to start masking up.

 Think about how time has this happened! This type of vaccine had started work before Covid ! I’ll still stand on it was worth the shot and in the big picture did much more good then bad !

Yessir.  That is why I say it was more agenda-driven and not health-driven. 

Yes, because in the back of folk’s minds (including the non-silenced experts) the vaccine was a cure-all — like, say the smallpox or measles vaccine.  But being a flu, it does not work that way.  You cannot stay ‘in front’ of it with a vaccine. 
Any cautionary voice was silenced and/or canceled.  You see some popping back up now on some outlets.  

But it was not.  All studies have shown this.  Look at the damage that was done by the original strain before the vaccine was available.  Then look at the damage done by the strain that came next and bypassed the vaccine.  Etc., etc.

I don't like calling it a flu, as influenza is a complete seperate virus. It is a upper respiratory infection that acts similar to influenza in many ways.

 Yes. You are technically correct.  But it is easier to explain that way.  
  Early on I explained the difficulty they have always had with developing a vaccine for an URI.

The mutation part of it is what I was comparing to the yearly flu vaccine.  

Without covid vaccines, there would have been millions more deaths and hospitalizations in the US.  For frequent mutating covid and flu, vaccines are updated annually and vaccination is recommended by doctors.  Even outdated vaccines with lower effectiveness may still be better than none.

That's not my point. The vaccine became a political weapon and logic was thrown out the window. As soon as it became known Delta was getting past the vaccine the vaccinated needed to be tested for attending large events like concerts and sporting events. But no, they continued to receive the free pass. And the vaccinated should have been warned about Delta and told to take precautions until a new updated vaccine became available. Cannot tell you how many people told me they were fully vaxed and therefore bulletproof. Even Michigan's Whitmer required unvaxed to tested prior to attending 2022 governors conference on Mackinaw Island and the vaxed needed no testing. Several vaxed attendies became infected. It was blamed on Island staff. 

Most vaccines don't prevent infection.  Main job is to prevent serious illness.  Overall, fully vaccinated people have lower risk than unvaccinated people in the same age group.  Vaccine mandate is a necessary last resort to increase vaccination in population.  Anti-vaxxers attempt to sell unvaccinated people as a protected class poses significant risk to public heath in a pandemic.

No, that's literally what a vaccine is suppose to do. And when talking upper respiratory viruses, we have to define infection. Any one of us may be harboring corona virons as we type back and forth. We may be harboring influenza. So does that constitute infection? The purpose of a vaccine is to prevent ailment. In the case of upper respiratory infection, if you're vaccinated, and you become symptomatic, that vaccine is ineffective. It's funny how we have moved the goal post for this vaccine. You have never seen anyone who receives yearly flu vaccines say, "Well, I got thr flu but i'm only a little sick so I guess the vaccine worked!"

Everything else you say is completely unfounded. I have dug into the numbers, as I know both Uni and Raiders have. There is no real way to show how many potential deaths the vaccine prevented. It is my believe that herd immunity, turning covid endemic, is what moved us past this crisis. When we opened the country, literally everyone I know got covid. Most people I know have had covid at least twice. The vaccine didn't prevent symptomatic illness. And you can't say it prevented death in an otherwise healthy population.

That's not to say there weren't exceptions. There of course are always outliers. The body and all it's mechanisms, for as much as we know about it, is still mysterious. We do not want to dishonor anyone who lost their lives to this virus. However we can't just make stuff up to fit a false narrative.
