So Trump was leading the polls a week ago by 2% but the latest poll has him ahead by 30%

BTW - I am considering betting against Quinnipiac mens basketball team tonight

Nope
Cruz is out. It will be Trumpt vs Rubio... which is not what I was hoping for. I would like to see a Trump/Rubio card but that now is unlikely

I don't agree with SF much (ever), but Cruz might be the worst bet at those odds. Keep in mind that a politics bet for the nomination or White House ties up your money for a lengthy time, thus you really need to play something where you feel the odds are in your favor.
The other thing to remember with politics is that people bet with their hearts more than in normal plays.
On the R side, Cruz cannot carry the undecided or moderate Rs. If you are looking for value, find who you think will be the anti-Trump for those. Rubio seemingly should be but hasn't gained traction. Bush and Kusaich may be heard from and can appeal to those who are looking for a candidate that can win the White House.

Yes I understand the wager - I have been following this closely and I predict Trump/Rubio/Cruz/Bush
The odds are not keeping up, so I would advise you to put some action on Rubio. 5dimes does not offer odds for 2nd place if they did I would bet it. Odds for Trump are -320 and I agree so no value

Actually I would put 1/2 unit on Rubio to win Iowa if I had the chance... all I can do is select "field" for +240
I don't feel strongly enough for Rubio for 1st place, I think Trump takes it easily. Rubio will take 2nd

I predicted Trump winning Iowa a couple weeks ago when the odds and the polls said he would not. This is one of several predictions that are playing out just as I said.

Keep in mind, in Iowa the GOP voters come in and place a vote and leave, they have been doing that all day. It is not like the DNC in which they do some primitive peer pressure group mentality way to shame voters to their side.

If trump wins in communicates to the entire nation and world how badly the GOP is in shambles. I hope as many GOP do that he will go away and let a legit candidate take a shot at president.
Trump win = Hillary win
Trump supporter = Hillary supporter

Why would you play against the most recent polls?
As for Trump, he comes across as someone who will actually do better when one votes in a hidden booth as compared to the polls.
With that being said, in the long run, my thoughts are betting the opposite of Nature1970 will make a profit.
