Further for this disease, in particular, the immunity is largely NOT from IgG antibody production. It is T-cell and non-specific immunity that stops it. Vaccines most commonly stimulate production of the former antibody class.

Most infectious respiratory disease is acquired through PROLONGED close personal contact among infectious individuals. Institutions and homes, just as has been demonstrated with empirical evidence for this as well as the many decades of research demonstrating this FACT with others.
