One day it will likely be revealed that Guliani was never really Trumps lawyer during this bizarre period of time, but just the white house court jester whose sole job was to attraction attention and distract the CNNs of the world to keep them looking in the wrong direction, all the while Trump is doing far more aggregious things behind closed doors.

The clown act known as Rudy has gotten to the point where this just cant be real anymore.

The quote was  lifted from a broader discussion of a "perjury trap".  If two people testify, both claiming to be truthful, yet offer opposing testimony, in this case the "truth isn't the truth".  "Capisci?"

Liberal law Professor Alan Dershowitz says Slim and Giuliani are absolutely right in what they said.........

Dershowitz explained that what Rudy meant is that a Perjury trap is when the prosecutor has a witness to testify to something as “the truth,” that would contradict the actual truthful testimony of someone being targeted. False testimony put forward as truth isn’t truth.

If the truth is pre-ordained, if prior to an investigation, the Special Counsel has already arrived at a conclusion the "truth" can be quite far from the "truth".

I don't think it disappeared since Cohen said payments were made at the direction of a "candidate" for federal office.
