    @Raiders22

     I made a comment, you decided to try and nit pick it as you do with every post you reply to and in response I asked you to NAME one, not name the 1000 which are brutal. I also did not ask for a copy/paste from other source that I have no idea what their measures are but for sure it is not part of this discussion per the list you gave.

    The reason why Trump is in this discussion is he made himself part of it due to his comments about the DEI and that his cabinet selection are targeting it, just to answer that comment.

    Any list that puts Chad or Nigeria as a great example for sure is not using measures per this discussion. You can follow your sources, I just completely disagree with the results of whatever this source seems to be.

    @BigfootIsThere

     I went to two years of CC myself, many people go the CC route my point is that CC is not cheap or affordable for people that it intends on trying to help. the cost of higher ed including trade and CC has dramatically outstripped general inflation and has for decades.

    @wallstreetcappers

     Calling someone chatgpt is not acceptable

    There are many worse slights and name calling going on than this.

    For example, are these comments acceptable?

    Time for you guys to grow up and quit being morons.

    Instead of being a crybaby why not address my message?

     You making these petty stupid comments

    Were you drinking while at the pool? Even for you the reply above my message is bizarre and unhinged.

    you be a rude jerk and I ask why you were being a rude jerk. That is the sequence pal, where in this sequence do you feel it is warranted to be a jerk as you are so often?

    You two need to grow up, this is not 5th grade where you degrade someone with insults to elevate your favorite dood. Are you and scoobs able to discuss content and topics without the childish trash responses?

    @wallstreetcappers

     In politics, religion and even sports you are going to have people get upset from time to time.

    Yes, they should not use insults to make their point.  It is weak and looks like you simply cannot make a convincing argument or have the facts and data to back your point up.

    But some of the things you complain about are really far milder than a lot of other places.

    I do not see where too many are really that far out of pocket.

    This is what some folks take issue with -- this is very subjective and enforced that way.

    Yessir.  Because I disagreed with it and showed where it was obviously incorrect.

    Then I asked you to support it can you still have not done so.

    No copy and paste was done in my point about where you were wrong.

    The only time I used it was to point the divers or non-diverse countries out to you.

    If I had not done that you consul just say it was my opinion and you had another opinion.

    Now with facts, you have to back up your thesis.

    @SarasotaSlim

     Because they are not abusing member to member like yours does, has and always will. Notice the repeating theme here going back a decade...one political party group of posters stalks, antagonizes, belittles, abuses, makes personal direct comments and the other is not even close to doing the same,

    This is not, has not and will not EVER be about a political party...you make it so because you break the rules and correlate cause and effect by political party. In our current political forum there are two groups as to the rules and since that is the ONLY item of discussion that is the only measure. The issue is only about member to member interaction not what the content of your discussions...with the assumption that the content is keeping the general site rules.

    Nothing else to say, the pool you associate with have issues with member to member content, you have always had problems with member to member content and that has never been otherwise.

    Nothing else to say, the pool you associate with have issues with member to member content, you have always had problems with member to member content and that has never been otherwise.

    @wallstreetcappers

     Any list that puts Chad or Nigeria as a great example for sure is not using measures per this discussion. You can follow your sources, I just completely disagree with the results of whatever this source seems to be.

    Okay.  That is fine.  So, what do you see as a diverse country that you want the USA to copy? And why?

    This was simply the CDI list that most use in these studies.

    Choose your own and go with it.

     For every 5 you can name I can name 50, so there is no altruism and BOTH sides get boxed. Not much else to say here, your reply is cherry picking and deflecting the core underlying issue.

    @Raiders22

     Using countries with literally NO diversity as an example seems pretty flawed, even India is not a great example because their issues are not about ethnic diversity rather cultural and sexist abuses.

    If you want to compare the US you need to have examples that have a reasonable level of ethnic diversity since that is one of the largest issues in the US.

    I do not feel the status quo is a good result when the foundation of the society was built off oppression and abuse. The US could go 100 years of extremist reversal of the social framework and it would not reverse the oppression and destruction brought onto the majority of the US.

    I think it is obvious that the majority is everything NOT white and male, since female makeup is statistically more than male, then anything non-male is a majority but in this case when you combine female of all ethnicities including Caucasian AND all the other non-Caucasian male/female members of society, the majority has been oppressed and abused by the minority...not sure what would not make sense with this comment.

    So, again, you pick.  Then say why?

    It is not a 'nit pick'; it is a flat-out proposition.

    Either you can support it or it is simply subjective.

    If it is subjective; that is fine.  But the folks need to be aware that it is.

    @SarasotaSlim

     We have done this so many times in the past, please do not act like you are not fully aware of what is going on. You replied to a message I made to someone else and took liberties to try and soil me as you always do, I then reply to your soil comment and then you try and spin it as again you always do into something done TO you rather than you brought yourself into a situation that you have a decade long history of being in and pulling then try and act like you have no part or involvement.

    Anyone can reply to any thread or comment, is that the issue of course it is not and nobody needs permission to reply, you took the opportunity to take a shot at me for the X number of time lol and THAT is what started this, in THIS occasion. What started this was from years ago and repeated over and over and over and over and over and over. You have tried for over a decade to turn anything into a partisan complaint, it is your sole narrative. The only singular issue EVER at the center of your issues is member to member problems.

    Why not own what you have done, what you have been involved with, your messages and replies, your stalking and antagonizing since you nearly started posting here and try to STOP doing that? I dont care which politician you like why would it matter to me in the slightest? Ive had issues with you from you from almost the beginning with the way you treat others poorly over and over and over and over. The bet issue is just the latest but your past and present are the issue as they always have been.

    @Raiders22

     Is it subjective? Discussion is itself subjective, contention is subjective. Your entire thesis including non-diverse countries as "proof" is OBVIOUSLY subjective. This is so bizarre it is comical.

    You are not literal, nobody is literal in all they say and especially in flowing discussion, is this such a difficult concept or are you again trying to use tactics you are known for to try and discredit someone?

    So, you choose.  Either select a studied expert(s) or choose your own.

    You are the one that made the broad statement.

    I am interested to see if you can support it is all.  It might be a good discussion.

    I just feel I would have seen it somewhere in the arguments from the advocates for this; I have not.

    @wallstreetcappers

     But when you say 'subjective' and talk about the 'non-diverse' countries -- you are conflating the two different topics.

    The subjective part I was referring to was whether calling out someone for using 'ChatGP' is worse than calling them a 'moron', 'crybaby', 'rude jerk', 'unhinged', or telling them to 'grow up'.

    That is the portion I was saying seems very subjective; not the studied diversity of various countries.

    @Raiders22

     You cannot rationalize or minimize an action based on a comparison action. There was zero need to call the member and his comments as chat gpt, it was an insult and not the first time he has been insulted for his style of comments. It was not said to make positive conversation, it was not provoked. That member has almost zero history of member to member insults and provocation. Stick to the item and then you will be stepping in the right direction, there is no need for you to try and minimize or rationalize an insult because YOU feel another did the same or worse.

    I suggest IF you feel a member is making a direct member to member attack or insult to please report it using the site tools and do your very very best to add value in discussion, make things better not try and play lawyer ball to defend someone in that way. Everyone needs to try and avoid insults, add value and make for good conversation whenever possible.

    Okay.  But using their metrics that is what they come up with.

    So, who do you choose subjectively and what?  What data would you select to determine it?

    I suggest IF you feel a member is making a direct member to member attack or insult to please report it

    Why? I could not care less about it being done; you do.

    It does not bother me and I do not do it.

    The issue that is so opaque is that you decide it and you blatantly do it worse than the ones you accuse it of doing it.

    That is all I am pointing out.

    If there is leeway for the hall monitor --then the folks should have a bit of leeway when they get frustrated.

    If ,your comments about me above doesn't prove that you are the one trying to belittle and humiliate a member nothing does.....

    You are correct on one comment though...this was started years ago when you banned me ..and it didn't hold..

    The truth of the matter is...... Wallstreetcappers you spoil yourself.
