If we get into a trade war due to Navarro's advice to
Trump , a lot of economic wealth is liable to change
hands. Does not bode well for wealthy GOP donors.

Resignation by top economic advisor due to disagreement over tariffs.  They are tax hikes for american consumers and manufacturers.  Tiny steel and aluminum producers are boosted at the expense of  big users that contribute far more to jobs and GDP.  Naive to try to save mining industries in long term decline.

Trump reason of national security concern for tariff is a sham.  Pentagon buys mostly US metals.  Other sectors buy most of foreign imports.   No need to strain relations with allies. Risk of retaliation from other countries leading to loss of economic growth worldwide.  Many american jobs depend on exports.  .Protectionism  produces more losers than winners in the long run.

Carbon Tax Cohn is gone ...Good Riddance.....Bye..

President Trump does not need his liberal views..

Gary Cohn in fact, is a registered Democrat and has donated a substantial amount of money to Democratic candidates including Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton..

What we need is a President that does what he says he’s going to do when he’s on the campaign trail.

Who are the people “that actually know what they’re talking about”?

FWIW , I posted this only to advise the Forum that
with Cohn leaving , the potential for the US to become
involved in a global trade war has increased by a
significant amount. Trade wars can create a detriment
    to our Country's economic growth.
Investors don't like it. Dow futures are saying that as
they are down currently by 400 points or so.

I'm not here to debate politics with those who get
their knowledge and / or opinion from the likes of
Fox News or Russian bots.on Facebook or Twitter,
as that is a complete waste of my time.

However , for the last time. a potential trade war can
have serious consequences , and I think all should

FWIW , I posted this only to advise the Forum that
with Cohn leaving , the potential for the US to become
involved in a global trade war has increased by a
significant amount. Trade wars can create a detriment
    to our Country's economic growth.
Investors don't like it. Dow futures are saying that as
they are down currently by 400 points or so.

I'm not here to debate politics with those who get
their knowledge and / or opinion from the likes of
Fox News or Russian bots.on Facebook or Twitter,
as that is a complete waste of my time.

However , for the last time. a potential trade war can
have serious consequences , and I think all should
    know that.

    Good Luck

Futures are currently lower , but we won't see much
until trading begins in Europe. Bush tried this back in
2002, you might want to research how that went.,
but it wasn't good. as we were starting to recover from
that , he let the banking system run amok.

History can repeat itself, as they are also working on
the repeal of Dodd - Frank  right now also.

Buckle up Boys .... It's coming.

Cohn is a globalist, and a fiscal liberal this is not the kind of man needed to be advising the President. Gary was ready to make his exit after not being nominated for chairman of the Federal Reserve..

Now he can spend more time with his wife and be free to explore new opportunities..

Anyone who knows Cohn knows what he's about.  He was never a part of MAGA.

So what do your questions say about this awesome leader you are bowing down to, that he is so toxic nobody can be around him for very long. Trump chose these people and if as you say they are not knowing what they are talking about I think the LEADER who CHOSE them has to be in this same category.

Or are you going to come up with some moronic horsesh!t reply like MAGA or liberals bad as usual?

I think they were brought in to accomplish what Trump campaigned on and when their personal views get in the way of what Trump promised the American people it’s time for them to move on. Cohn’s departure is a victory for protectionists and immigration hawks. People moving on and the deck getting shuffled every now and again isn’t a bad thing.

Let me tell you something " Trump Lover " , Those
who have been in Leadership , know a leader when
they see one , and Trump is not a leader.
He has no idea what the ramifications are of his
actions nor does he care as long as people are
talking about HIM . When it all blows up ( and it will )
he will just try to  place the blame on someone else.

Unfortunately , the citizens of this country will be his
victims ..... and yes .... you will be one of them.

Trump has not done what he promised at all...he has given to corps and the wealthy, but of course he promised that and for sure he has accomplished plenty for those in his income/wealth class. He cannot accomplish what he promised because he made every promise possible and his wee little brain cannot stop that mouth from yapping long enough to comprehend what is comes out.

Trump has been doing exactly what he said he would do.

You can look up his contract to be American people.

    Thank you.
