In 1986 NYC had a disaster trying to rebuild/modernize the Wollman Ice Skating Rink in Manhattan. Locals & tourists loved the place. The city had spent close to 20 million with no success.
So this dude writes a letter to the Mayor of NYC Ed Koch demanding that he be allowed to take over the project. He bragged he would finish the project early & under budget. And he did. That's really the beginning of Trump IMO. For a brief time he was the talk of the town & he couldn't get enough publicity from the National Inquirer & other rags. But back to the ice skating rink. Any idea who operated the ice rink from 1986 to just recently in 26. Of course you know who.
