President Trump travels to El Paso today for a rally to win support for his call for a border wall. ...while a potential 2020 challenger Beto O'Rourke will be speaking less than half a mile away....

After getting reports from El Paso..President Trump told reporters in Washington before departing for Texas, "We have a line that is very long already, I'm mean you see what's going on," referring to people waiting to get into his "Make America Great Again" campaign rally..

Beto O’Rourke’s bid to unseat Republican Sen. Ted Cruz ended in defeat last November..

Organizers were still anticipating a big Trump crowd, and scores of people were camped out in line more than 12 hours before the rally was set to start........75,000 people signed up for his campaign rally tonight in El Paso, but the arena only holds 8,000.

It's reported that Beto a born-and-raised El Pasoan has about 65 people lined up at his rally in El Paso at this time,,, while President Trump has 22,000 and counting......................

Mayor, local newspaper, FBI data and fact checker snopes all dispute Trump's claims  that El Paso was one of the most dangerous cities in the US until after a border fence was built.  Actually, El Paso has never been a dangerous city.  Its crime rate consistently declined for years before building of fence.  Also the fence didn't lower the crime rate.

El Paso Mayor Dee Margo ...El Paso was NEVER one of the MOST dangerous cities in the US. We‘ve had a fence for 10 years and it has impacted illegal immigration and curbed criminal activity. It is NOT the sole deterrent. Law enforcement in our community continues to keep us safe #SOTU

Thank you Mayor Margo that's why President trump want's the wall...

 even more confusing  ^^^^^^  

A Democrat who LOST big time to Ted Cruz (R) is now going to run for President of the U.S. smart move indeed! especially when 65 people (whoever they where) show up at your 'presidential' announcement to run rally....in essence to reality, the President had a standing room only crowd of 8,500 and another 17,000 waiting in line to get in. All this, less than a mile from where Beto was trying to explain why he lost to Ted Cruz, why he should be the next president of the U.S. and wondering beyond believe; why less than a hundred people showed up in support of his charade.....this guy is weird..

Heartwarming to see "beto" connecting with his adoring fans... one on one behind the safety of a baseball diamond cage....kinda like a barrier or a fence... no? Was security armed? 

Beating an effigy of Trump? Imagine the uproar if a pelosi effigy was provided for attendees at Trump rally, to beat with a stick.
