First thing I noticed when I saw the initial video - plain and clear! - was the UNARMED female driver was being assaulted by one of trump's GESTAPO first... and then SHE TURNED HER FRONT TIRES TO THE RIGHT so she could escape the aggressive assault AND DRIVE AWAY FROM THE SCENE BUT AVOID HITTING the dumbass GESTAPO who had carelessly placed himself in front of (left corner) her vehicle. CLEARLY! Placing the transmission in DRIVE *AFTER* turning the tires to the RIGHT (GESTAPO in left front corner) is a CLEAR attempt to AVOID hitting him while trying to escape the ASSAULT by another GESTAPO!

As I like to think I try very hard to view/listen to things with an open mind (until I know it's no longer pragmatic based on circumstances) I just listened to probably the greatest speech I that I can recall ever hearing.....and it came from the new Canadian Prime Minister, Mark Carney at the World Economic Forum in Davos....the man is fair, diplomatic ........and brilliant... I'm confident the man and his politics have some faults. But from what I've read and what I know firsthand with comparison to our elected leader, Carney, on his WORST day, wouldn't even come within 1% as BAD as trump is EVERY day!
I was reminded recently of the alliance we have with our northern neighbors on multiple different fronts when our disrespectful, condescending, republican-asshole-in-the-Oval denigrated and insulted Canada and several other nations...

over $14 Trillion: new report
New analysis of U.S. taxpayer data shows that, over 30 years, immigrants saved the government $14.5 trillion, preventing a fiscal crisis.
The report, from the libertarian Cato Institute, looked at federal, state and local government data stretching from 1994 through 2023, finding that immigrants generated more in taxes than they received in benefits.
Trump demonizes immigrants as criminals but economists generally see immigration as positive for US economy in the long term. Both legal and illegal immigrants subsidize US government. Without immigration, US public debt should double. Congress budget office predicts that mass deportation could reduce US labor force and economic growth.
