DoubleUp.  We're not deflecting,blaming or distracting. I cant speak for all conservatives but I'm happy with our presidents successful weekend of meetings.

In a joint press conference following their meeting, Trump and Putin only summarized the gist of what they had covered...

No one wants another COLD WAR, this meeting was the first step towards avoiding that.

 

As for the rest of the weekend, the president put Europe on notice that the days of taking advantage of America is over.

You did NOT elaborate anything.

This so-called summit did NOT prevent another cold war, which will does not apply to today's political system.

Cold War refers to the  state of permanent crisis that marked the nuclear standoff between the U.S. and the then-Soviet Union and its allies following World War II.

Current relations between the US and Russia ( Not the Soviet Union)  are not shaped by ideology ( Communism vs capitalism). 
They are rather shaped by a clash in economic interests, security issues and Russia’s domestic political concerns.

 some Members of Congress want to hold a Closed- Door Investigative Hearing as to what was discussed between Trump/Putin and whether it was Treasonous.

THe other thought here. Why does no one ever check that campaign contributions come from within the nation or does citizens united ruling virtually pave the way Legally for anyone on the globe to put money into superpacs like Soros for instance.

This is completely laughable.  You're referring to what Putin just said about Bill Browder's donation to the Hillary Clinton campaign.  He initially said $400 million was moved from Bill Browder to the Hillary Clinton campaign. Then Putin said he MISSPOKE and that the actual amount was $400,000.  What actually happened was Bill Browder's associates donated $17,700 to the Hillary Clinton campaign and $297,000 to the Democratic National Committee.  Far cry from your original statement.  The real problem is that there are millions of people like sundance that will distribute fake news with reckless abandon and millions more will take it as fact.  Just soaking up fake news through the eyes and ears and dishing it out via mouth and twitter fingers completely bypassing the brain for any reasonable thought process.
