Increase the minimum wage to $15 per hour and provide federally-funded paid  leave. Every worker deserves to earn enough to live a middle-class lifestyle, provide for their family, save for retirement, and send their kids to college. The Obama-Biden Administration extended long overdue overtime and minimum wage protections to nearly 2 million home care workers. As President, Biden will codify these protections into law and build on them. Biden will support indexing the minimum wage to the median hourly wage so that low-wage workers’ wages keep up with those of middle-income workers. He will also ensure that Medicaid reimbursement levels reflect fair wages, while increasing access to HCBS—alleviating tension between access to services and paying people a fair wage.

Sign into law Senator Harris and Congresswoman Jayapal’s Domestic Workers’ Bill of Rights, which, among other things, establishes a federal wage and standard board to set fair wage levels and define working conditions for domestic workers, including direct care workers, across the United States. He will protect the right of all workers to participate in a union. And, he will reinstate the Obama-Biden rule, which the Trump Administration has since reversed, that makes it easier for independent-provider home care workers to participate in a union. And, he will both stop the misclassification of workers as independent contractors and give the right to collectively bargain to independent contractors. He will also ensure that domestic workers have the right to basic workplace protections, including safe and healthy work environments.

Provide support for direct care workers to engage with consumers to develop appropriate training and career opportunities to improve community living services. He will direct states to consult care providers, labor unions, and community advocates on decisions that impact the quality, affordability, or access of care. What will Biden do ? Act like a 30 year career statesmen. He will continue to champion cause for the vulnerable Allow a true leadership to work and come up with solutions for today's America as he has for nearly 5 decades. Engage world leaders with respect and gain back our alliances with NATO Europe Mexico Australia and India.

He will disassociate himself from terrorists sponsor nations such as North Korea and Iran and he won't be loving a lady who is born Communist.

This breed the Joe Biden's the Rick Perry's the t boone pickets the moderate face of America is what is needed at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Not a trash reality family bent on disruption and chaos. If Donnie don't inherit that silver spoon he be living in a trailer park somewhere finding a way to pimp a girl to cut a deal with a meth dealer in my humble opinion.

Joe has been around for 30 plus years. Was Vice President. When you check the state of affairs in America today, it is difficult to blame anyone but the career politicians.
Trump being an outsider has riled the democrat party to the brink of war. If Biden did so much as stated, why are we in such turmoil today ? The democrats blame Trump as they throw stones.

Nature - I've said several times I like Joe biden and think he is a gentleman. BUT, the man couldn't run a sno-ball stand. There's

no way you can think he is capable! I just don't get the love for this man other than the disdain for Trump. Does that validate

a vote for Joe? At least give us someone to choose from, right?

    Your making

a lot of our opinions for us. You could have won a popularity contest against Hillary. IMHO, I feel the "career" politicians is 99% reason the

country is in the shape it is. One reason I voted for Trump is he wanted "term limits." Career Politicians is an oxymoron. Like jumbo shrimp. We

need outsiders (Trump or whoever) to stop the "Status-Quo" BS that goes on in the Beltway circle. Do you think anyone in the "Beltway" gives

a rat ass about average Joe?? Bunch of elitist thieves, liars and cons. How does Trump, from your humble opinion of him, not fit right in? I say

he fits right in if he pisses so many people off! Could it be he is unraveling some people who have something to keep out of the public?

Yikes! No!!  We need John Roberts (Republican)  to stay on the bench and prevent the right from turning us into a FASCIST state.
