Pelosi states by July they can have legislation sent to the Senate.

The break down of this latest 2 trillion expenditure is in broad languages of bridge road repair. Housing investments high speed internet solutions to urban rural areas.

A shift away from fossil fuels to subsidize green energy commitments and the language makes America fossil fuel free by 2035.

The covid 19 stimulus and this package taxes all taxes currently payable to the treasury. New tax on corporations to fund this package is to raise the rate from 21 percent to 28 percent.

Republicans have already pledged to defeat this massive expenditure as

This will create millions of new carpentry technical and mechanical construction and grid system jobs (Linemen) through out the country.

Expect the same tired old  talking points from Republican leadership tax and spend liberals , add to deficit, too large a package, government intrution into personal freedoms ect ect ect...

Reality this would be too big a win for democrats as everyone now has shifted attention to mid term elections. If the economy is soaring things are improving obviously retaking the house and Senate become much harder of a prospect regardless of voter suppression legislation at the state level.

Oddly, US the richest nation has fallen behind other countries in relative spending on repairing and updating old infrastructure.  Much of US infrastructure has been build decades ago and maintenance is increasingly necessary.  Obvious reason for inaction is insufficient tax revenue for government.  Americans have among the lowest tax rates of rich nations.

Damn those Republicans, what's wrong with them? Who wouldn't want "new infrastructure"????

    $2.3 Trillion dollar bill. an_burningbag

Only 650 billion actually for roads and bridges. (28% of bill) moneybag

    $80 billion to amtrak. an_burn_money

The rest is mostly NEW GREEN DEAL. Expand medicare (illegals come to mind), new "green" schools, hospitals, cap oil and gas wells, etc. an_burningbag

So you call a bill an "infrastructure bill" and the 72% of that bill is "New green deal". Why are they HIDING IT with a phoney name?

So idiots will buy it, that's why!!

So some how the money needed to construct infrastructure projects evaporates. Unlike simple minded Trump supporters Biden looked at this as where can I generate the most bang for the buck.

So he targeted industries that need labor pools.

Construction whether manufacturing the part or transporting the material or handling the loads the payroll to install and the needs the workers have to effectively continue working he is directing 2 trillion at construction industry and hard asset green technical installers to increase fiber optic transmission lines hardened paved road and bridge projects housing and urban development as well as rural developments projects.

He is investing the 7 percent increase directly to blue collar workers as they spend in other sectors and begin to build America back to the greatest nation ever conceived.

Of course republicans have to ball if they wish to have another chance to ruin our nation. It might take another 8 years before America can afford another blow it Republican president again.

    CNN FACT CHECK:

    By CNN's Daniel Dale
WH officials inaccurately state their new infrastructure proposal
will create about 19 million jobs.

They were using the Moody's Analytics report incorrectly.
Moody's state the economy should add about 19 million jobs between 2021 and 2030
if the infrastructure bill gets passed but would still likely add about 16.3 million jobs
even if the bill is not passed.
Thus, the bill itself would only create about 2.7 million new jobs, not 19 million an_light

It may get watered down some, in fact I think it likely, if it's going to pass with 51 votes.

But at least now it doesn't require a super majority in the Senate.

Still, one or two Dem senators will want their moment in the spotlight and hold America hostage while he/she milks it for all he/she can get, and force the plan to do far less than it could or should.  Watch
