Subpoenas are not indictments..nothing has been proven at this point and everything is hearsay..Grand juries are regularly convened by federal
and state courts as a matter of course. If there is a sitting grand jury in Virginia hearing witnesses or other evidence from prosecutors working
on the Russia investigation, this would happen in the normal course
of business in a federal court..
Also,, a sitting president is immune to criminal prosecution while in office: a sitting president would have
to be fully impeached before being charged with a crime.
As far as DOJ lawyer Hui Chen.. she was a
contractor for the agency, not a full-time employee.....
Her Facebook page indicated that she stepped up her political activism
in recent months, attending protests in front of the White House and the
Capitol wearing a hat emblazoned with the word
“resist.”...... her contract was due to expire in September anyway..she was an activist that wanted more freedom to protest..and she did with Sen.Nancy Pelosi recently..
She was probably up-set because President Trump pulled out of the Paris climate accord and budget plans to sharply reduce funding for programs she cared about...Chen said she “
will also consider it my personal mission to participate
in efforts to hold our elected representatives accountable and to
protect our environment.
The WSJ story shows this operative
may have been working with President Trumps former NSA advisor and that this operative.. Peter W. Smith
implied that he was working with Michael Flynn. But as described the only crime seems to be the hacking, none of
which involved either Flynn, his son, or the late Peter W. Smith..
