No now that McConnell has no say of what is brought to floor.... Stimulus checks are back on the table for the added 1400.
President-elect Joe Biden just announced a $1.9 trillion coronavirus rescue plan that includes a third round of "stimulus checks" — and already this week, things are likely to start happening.
"There's no time to waste," Biden said on Thursday when he unveiled his package, which would give most Americans another $1,400. Congressional leaders have responded with a promise to move quickly, even with the Senate also facing an impeachment trial in the coming days.

McConnell continues to obstruct the passage of the economic aid to millions upon millions of needed Americans. McConnell's job appears simply, cuts the tax for top richest Americans and cuts our Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and blocks the economic aid to middle and low income families. Well that was then, BEFORE trump caused the Republicans to LOSE the Senate.
Different story now........so let's see what happens.
NOTE: I have stated before that a thin majority is no guarantee of legislation getting passed. 
There's *ALWAYS* one and sometimes a handful in one's own party who will bawk at his own party's bill just so they will have to BRIBE him somehow....
But clearly the country needs a HUGE stimulus NOW!
