I have a buddy who is playing in Event #1 ($345 NLHE)....it starts at noon on Friday, Oct. 24. I am almost certain I am driving to Chicago to hang on the rail/play some cash games.
Anyone else play in any events similar to this and if so, what has your experience been?

I'm 2 hours from Hammond. Might think about signing up...
Just go to Harrahs.com and look under Horseshoe casino Hammond and there will be a schedule they were just at the Horseshoe Southern Indiana which is right accross from Louisville KY. The tourneys are great and cash games are great during all WSOP Circuit events. The Main event here only had 84 entries 1st place was $ 143,064 win that and you are a WSOP Champion. BOL if you go

I appreciate the offer. I'm still undecided as to whether I'm going. It's about 7 hours or so away....I'm in the middle of buying a new vehicle....and I have some work stuff going on. If I go, I'm leaving tomorrow, staying at my buddy's place Thursday night, and driving (from Kenosha) on Friday a.m.
I'll for sure e-mail you if I decide to make the trek. 50-50 right now I think.
