I've never known anyone to clarify that.
Only way those are the two hands heads up pre=-flop is if it's Durr (who would raise with 7/2 off) vs. Antonious/Eli Elezra/Lex Veldhuis (who might call a raise with 3/2 off)...4 pros who simply check their cards pre-flop for the hole camera...otherwise, they'd play the hand blind.

There's nothing to argue:
72o is nearly a 2-1 favorite over 32o pre-flop.
But that doesn't really matter...
What's important is to understand that hand values are not transitive:
22 < JTs
JTs < AKs
AKs < 22
I'm pretty sure the above is from Carson's Complete Hold'em... but I lost my copy...
