What happened to Jamie Gold?? Where did he go??

I never thought he was that great; he just hit a really good run and people listened to his garbage instead of playing their own game; that fold when it was three handed and the guy had a royal flush draw and straight draw made no sense; I make that call every single day of the year; and his rationale was he thought he could beat Gold heads up once they got there; maybe he could which he didnt because Gold made him call when everyone in the room knew Gold had a Q; he makes that call and HE is the chip leader and GOLD is totally fucked and for the first time in the entire tournament he is behind and I guarantee he loses; it seems like he got embarrassed playing in some tourneys going out quick and losing some cash games; does anyone know if he blew all his money and not playing anymore; I have not heard anything from him at all; thanks

I think he's still playing. I read something about him organizing some charity poker tournaments...

He's a terrible player though... but still difficult for some people to play... he's willing to lose huge chunks of his stack on bad cards... that makes him a danger... to your stack and his own.

I've heard pros say they would bend over backwards to have him sit down.  He lost a ton on High stakes on GSN.  Real tool too, I get the vibe from him that he thinks he's absolutely the smartest person in the room, when if people filter out his shit they can play circles around him

hell no i wouldnt have folded there. gold had them both covered so even if wasicka lost he would have been second since he started the hand with more chips, plus if he calls now there are 2 hands that can beat phillips instead of 1. as good as gold was running if wasicka wanted to have any real chance of winning he had to call there. he gives up any chance of winning by not trying to get a triple up with gold now having 75% of the chips in play to start heads up
