what is a fair payout for 50 people tourney. not casino, backroom
not money thats not the issue, i mean spots. they pay out top 3 only and its loaded very top heavy
sometimes a 4th is paid out of the top 3 if all 3 chip leaders agree when its down to 4 and thats usually the buy in amount.
usually its 1200/600/300 in that area.
it just pains me that you have to play perfect poker for 5 hours to make the money, wishing they'd pay out top 6 or 7 and make it so not TOP heavy. maybe 6th,5th,4th you get the buy in back
outta 50 only top 3, does this sound fair

I've played in back-room tournaments of this size and they paid top 7 or 8 if I remember correctly. I realize that's probably too many, but we're not professionals and people value being rewarded for at least making it to the final table.
