So this happened last night

i have 1200 dollars in chips at a 5 10 no limit game i get pocket aces in the big blind . 10 man table  4 people call its raised before it gets to me to 40 i reraise it to 80 call call call call 320 in pot at this point. flop is aa10 . i check the nuts one guy all in for 150 next guy all in for 300, next guy pauses then calls all in for 300. so everyone is all in and i have quads. i call. flip over with big grin.

but then i notice someone has kq of diamonds and not only that the ace and 10 of diamonds are on the flop, turn 4 river jack of fing diamonds.

game over.

Im just fucking with you. Gotta reaise more than 80 pe afer a guy raies to 40 in fron of you. Id go to like 140

Online? or B&M? Cause if your B&M has a bad beat jackpot that would of been huge! BTW.....sometimes you gotta be able to read your opponents and lay down quads..

Seriously that is pretty disgusting. I got beat ONCE flopping a boat when someone turned a straight flush and I took a pic with my Iphone.

Chance is right.  If you have a line-up of callers and then only bump it double, you're just making it more attractive for everyone to tag along.  Obviously, flopping quads made you happy at the time, but a weak play like that before the flop will lose you money over the long haul. 

no question you guys are right. a juicy raise and KJ diamonds is SUPPOSED to fold, wont do it  100% of course, but is supposed to. A nice raise and you should lose the KJ.  HOWEVER, if you go just to 80 once the first guy calls, which he should, the others HAVE TO CALL.
