On this board "online poker" definitely seems to be the hot topic. Poker is a crazy game filled with beats, personalities, good times, and bad. Seems to be a growing sentiment on this board that the online sites are rigges to take your money, which is totally false,
Many of you here know me from before and know that Ive been playing poker for a living for over 2 years now online. My total profit (taxfree, shhhhh lol) is about 57K for 2 years. Hardly "baller" but my point here is not to act like im a baller, its just to disprove some of the "rigged" garbage I see on this site day in and day out. If Ive consistently won month after month then its not rigged guys but man it gets so wild and so tuff sometimes that i really dont blame you for thinking this at times.
So ask me any crazy question you want to know about online and I'll do my best to answer it

What you think of the stoxtrader scandal that just broke?
I JUST started reading about all of this last nite as Ive been pretty busy the last few weeks. Im gonna check some more into it and then i'll get back to you. Multiaccounting high stakes issues with "stoxtrader"
But from what Ive seen/heard/read so far definitely the dude seems to be playing on a few different names. To be honest which is no surprise. Ive never doubted that people are cheatin online (collusion, multiaccounting, etc), my main issue is the sites are not progrmming the cards for you to lose. People cheat at home games and casinos too. Im not and never will deny this happens, its the "rigged" theories Im after

I do not think the major sites are rigged. PS FT PP etc etc
That being said it has happened before so you can not totally discount the possibility.
I have a question for you lap, what do you think the greatest benefit to the online books is if they were cheating?
Well when you say "its happened before" I think you mean cheating, not rigging. I have never once tried to downplay the UB/Absolute scandal or the possibility of collusion online. Cheating occurs everywhere from online to live. However the Ub scandal was Russ Hamilton (and others) using a program to see your cards at the nosebleed stakes games, he wasnt playing $2 sitngos and taking wizardofoz's money like people act on here. I will never try and act like cheating hasnt occured, but I will say noone on this forum has ever been "rigged" or been played by a "superuser" online. Also, no matter how its regulated there will be instances of cheating and colllusion from time to time just like there is at any other sport, game, business in life. But the fight im fighting is that the sites are NOT rigging the cards, which you seem to agree with.
The benefit for the site to rig the cards obv is more rake. The most common rigged thoery is just "action flops" or just "juicing the pot" aka giving two players great hands more often so more money goes in the pot therefore more rake for the site. Its an absolutely common and respectable thing to think until you realize the risk theyre taking just to squeeze out aome extra money. Yes, people are greedy. Yes, people have done stupider things but the risk/reward for this "rigging" is just so ridiculous. Take a look around an online site and see how much theyre making in rake and they dont need to do thisd. PLUS, youre not taking their money!!! When you bet sports and kick ass the site has a reason to cut your limits or try + delay your payout cuz YOURE TAKING THIER MONEY!!!! With a poker site Im taking Joe Smith's money and the site is just the "middle man" for their fee so they could care less who wins and loses!!! But guys like powerade and wizardof(bein a losing player) feel Fulltilt's execs sit in an office and circle names on a sheet of paper of whose accounts theyre gonna fuck over. LOL< so obv the only benefit is MORE MONEY but the risk is just devastating.
