Pokerstars Sunday Million....

I'm playin this Sunday, 200+15.  This will be my first time playing the Sunday Million.  Anyone play the Sunday before?  What's the tourney play like? TIA

I play them all the time

 

first couple of hours will be a donkey fest....80% (maybe more) of the players get in on a Satellite and they pretty much suck

 

so sit back, pick your spots....you dont have to force anything early....dont go on tilt if/when you take a bad beat because you will have time to make a comeback.....try to find the scared money at your table and use them.....allow the weak limpers into the pot and when in late position and pound them hard......also look for the pure donks who play any 2 and stay far away.....it's not worth it, I repeat dont get involved with the donkeys, they will take each other down and then you can pick up the chips later on.....

 

once you get into about hour 3 the play gets better.....at this point you will have to start trapping the donkeys and start taking their chips, this will not be hard but this could also be the stage were you go bust.....nothing you will be able to do.....get your money in with the best of it vs. the loose players and let the cards fall as they may....

 

later on as you get closer to the money look for the players who are looking to just cash as you can exploit them....push them around.....most of the weak/loose players will be gone and now the game begins....YOU MUST PICK UP CHIPS FROM THE TIGHT PLAYERS HERE.....it's a must.....you will need the stack as you move on

 

if you make it into the money then your into real hardcore online tournament poker....play your best, play focused and you can take down a very nice payday

I usually just play live tourneys, but now that I just had another kid I won't be able to get down to the Borgata as much. The wifey is going to let me substitute the Pokerstars Sunday million instead of a trip to AC.  My stars name is noguano.

But like I said just play your game and stay away from the bad players to start the tournament off.....funny thing is this tournament matches the WSOP main event in every way.....tons of no clue morons to start the tournament but tons of time to play and wait them out of you have the patience....

 

I wont be playing the next couple of Sundays as I have plans I can get out of....but I will probably play the one on April 27
