No surprise here, was just in Vegas and unless you are named the Venetian, The Bellegio, or Aria, the poker rooms are nearly empty.

Not a big deal really but the article tries to paint a different picture.

Smaller rooms close because the casual player doesn't want to go to the rinky dink casino just to experience a love NL game.

The Venetian, Bellagio etc. will always flourish because that is where the real games are.

WSOP had 7,000 entries last year it says...like that's a bad thing because it dropped 1,600 from an all time high. Really? When Moneymaker won there was only a little over 800! Poker is fine. Not booming, but fine for live games.

Thought about taking the wife to the MGM this July anyone know what their poker room is like? I went there about 6 years ago and it was packed. Went to Vegas last October and the Mandalay and mirage poker rooms only had 1 table going. Ended up going to the Venetian and the aria where the rooms were packed.

terribl herbsts spreads 3 games....tuscany closed, boulder station packed but their main game is 4-8 omaha high only w/ a 1/2/ kill

bills saloon closed, as is casino, o 'sheas same.....ballys room a 1-2 nl haven w/ a phizzzatttttt jackpot.....caesars ok mgm ok low limits at green valley ranch going , sunset stat sux sams town blos donkey shlongs
