Poker Algorithms

I wanted to share this Click Here :-).This article describes(perhaps in a better way than I can :-) some of the data and theory on computer poker algorithms.To be honest,I am a Computer Technician,so I understand the fundamental concepts involved here,and I'm just tryin to clear up a few misunderstandings I've seen mentioned on the poker tables recently(and also-hopefully-explain somewhat my assertion that the 'shuffle' is not exactly the same as the 'shuffle' of human hands :-)

For you see,as the above mentioned article goes into,the 'shuffle' in online poker involves a computer algorithm that's running in either the client or server process space(sorry for gettin technical :-).What your hand consist of is determined by different algorithms computing various things all at once,but whether you win or lose is-most of the time-dependent upon you,the player. :-)

There's no way for computers to give you random shuffles.  Computers need intructions from programmers in order to execute.
