On the topic of preflop play...

NEVER fold aces. This is like the 3rd time ive read a post from someone who said they folded aces preflop, and NO its NEVER a good play, i dont care about the situation.

 

Let me rephrase that, unless every single person at the table is all in in front of you and top 2 are paid at the 9 man table, and you are likely going to get to heads up if you fold easily gliding into the payout, that is the only time you ever MIGHT want to fold aces, but i have my doubts as to if that will ever happen.

Yeah.. I don't really undestand it either.. In some people's situation they are satisfied with winning what they have in front of them that they don't want to play.  If that was the case the conservative player that has aces there shouldn't even be in the game. Poker is not played that way.. I don't see how you can be a poker player and have doubts about playing Aces in a game..

I agree 100%.  I just made a similar post on another thread before reading this one.  Folding aces preflop I will never understand.  People that think that is a good play?  Why?  Never mind don't answer that, I wouldn't understand it anyway.  I am still looking for the game where players fold aces preflop.  Folding aces preflop is just scared poker and I don't see how anybody could think it is winning poker.

my guess is buy never fold Aces you mean pocket Aces and not like some jerkoffs do at a 4-8 or whatever table and never fold an Ace ever..then you have kings bet the crap out of them into a board of q,2,4,10 and ace shows on the end and someone bets and they turn over a-6 off suit
