And this is for 1 reason only, I can not stand Jamie Gold.  I thought he was way to cocky, doesn't seem like he really knows how to play, and he got paid off because he had great cards.

I saw one guy say all in, and the azz clown that Jamie is asked all cocky like 2-3 times "Did he say all in", and Jamie did have Pocket K's, but it's not like he had Pocket Rockets and was guaranteed the best hand going in, there was still one hand out there that was over him.

I am not down on rookies winning, just this clown.  Probably no need to type all of this, and I am sure there might be some people out there calling me hater or jealous, but it irks me watching these re-runs, and its all because of him.

Yeah he's the biggest douche in poker.   The amount of lucky breaks he got was ridiculous.   Why would Johnny Chan be involved with this moron?   It would be interesting to see what some of the big-name players have to say about Gold.

Does he look like a child molester to anyone else?

Im not saying he didnt get lucky, but people get real, you need luck like this to win it all. happened with moneymaker, Raymer and Aussie oy oy oy as well. You just see the major hands, you dont see the everyday grind. I do agree that it doesnt seem as if he is that good of a player though, Raymer and Hachem look good, he doesn't, but still...

he is a dick i agree but you must give him some credit even tho he was hit with the deck , imean  he was the chipleader thruout the whole tourny , and i also was a little disturbed how he was borderline almost colluding when he spoke   with people left to act behind him

he hasnt really done anything since that big win but donate alot at the cash games from what i have read and been told from people that played with him but he made at least 6 mill , i dont know how much he settled the lawsuit for but i doubt it was 6 mill ,

i cant wait to see this years events , i should just get the package for 50 bucks but im not home enuff to watch these events as the final tables occur, ill probably get the ME final table ppv only 20 bucks from espn 1 hr delay i think

Jamie Gold is an arrogant, lucky a-hole with no character to boot.   After being fortunate enough just to PLAY in the WSOP and agreeing to split any of his winnings with his staker, his true colors came through after the deck hit him and he won.  Then he made his "friend' take him to court to collect.  A man is only as good as his word, and this alone would qualify Jamie Gold as scum in my book.

And Chan probably regrets rooting for Gold now, but he wanted some extra camera time himself.  At least as bad a player as Moneymaker is now known, at least he carries himself with some dignity.

And off subject, I think Raymer and Hachem are very good players, but it seems that whenever Raymer tries to get close to his Pokerstars "buddy", Hachem seems to want no part of that friendship.  I guess he looks down on Greg cause he thinks he is a slob, but Hachem should display more class IMO since they are both sponsored by the same company.

I just want to know how he didnt get penalized for all his talk.

Really didn't seem right with others to act. But when its heads up you can pretty much say whatever you want, right?

every time wasicka says "this is sick" and mucks his open ended straight flush draw when its 3 handed i want to jump through the tv and punch him in the face. and then when he acts like its cool that he's heads up with gold it makes me madder. dude woulda been like 2:1 and had a chance, instead he's like 8:1 in chips. also, he had more chips than the 3rd place, so even if he calls the 3 hander, and gold wins, he still gets second.

i think its the worst fold in poker history, and i cant believe more people aren't irate at this.

I agree it was a bad fold.

But...and I may be wrong about this, so if I am just let me know, but didn't binger just raise and gold then went all in....if wassika calls, binger then can fold and let them battle it out...wassika would be at a risk for third and binger would coast into second....that may have been his thinking. Granted, it wasn't very good thinking.

but with the number of outs he had, there is NO way you get away from that hand.
