its happened atleast 100 times....thats why they have those satellites to the bigger tourneys. i remember reading story about guy on Ultimatebet who won the badbeat jackpot of $60k at the time...and was normally a $1/2 player but after winning he went to the 25/50 and 100/200 tables and lost it all. lol
again...it doesnt take skill to win those 5k entrants or more tournaments..you have to hit every draw and every coin flip to stay alive. it always happens that if you get AK vs K4 the other guy with K4 will always win.
in my opinion the only reason you see the same guys playing them is because they are the ones who can afford to... the others just never cash

That is why I laugh when someone says poker is mostly skill and very little luck. I think poker is 80% LUCK and 20% skill, but over the long haul, that 20% is crucial in getting you ITM and keeping you from regularly redepositing.
