I hope Gold says that to a big guy that isn't mentally stable and the guy just knocks him out.
Gold was the luckiest guy on the way to his title. I've never seen anyone hit more flops with random hands and then he acts like he knew what he was doing.
He just got hot at the best possible moment and capitalized on it. Now he is an arrogant jackass. I usually never cheer for anyone to lose, he is the exception.

Not only did he pick random times, he announced he wanted to be poker's greatest bluffer on one episode, which logically, should have set him up to play super-tight so his statement about being a bluffer would essentially be a bluff (a wise stance) and he could attack with a big pocket pair.
So what does he do? Enters a hand soon thereafter with nothing and bluffs and loses a very big pot...Nice...

From the ESPN episodes it looked like he hit every flop there was. He seemed to get a giant chip lead and called every flop, then would hit top pair, or two pair non stop. At least that was my impression of the ESPN episodes.
I don't remember him outplaying anyone with a relatively similar chip stack and lesser cards at any point. I suck at poker but even I could do that.

Only seen parts of tourney but seen episodes high stakes poker what a friggin idiot

i saw him live for days on end. he hit everything in site, flops turns and rivers......i have never seen a man run hotter in such a short period of time. def heated up at the right time at the right event.... he lied to every dealer he had....im toking a million blahblahblah ...end result dealers got 0(zero). Albeit chris ferguson , allen cunningham preach stiffing dealers also. ferguson and cunningham = 2 more scumbags.

Why do those guys preach stiffing dealers?
I know the dealers have no influence over how the cards come out or how someone plays their cards. However, I am a big believer in karma, proper tipping for services rendered, and overall being a friendly person and not screwing people over.
I guess that last part probably does explain Ferguson.

Played in a cash game with jamie gold not too long ago. it was a $500 buy in cash game. after he went bust he dug in his pocket and had only $200 and asked the table if it was okay for him to short buy. No one had a problem. The few times i played with him i've never seen him win and usually goes bust pretty fast.

I live by memphis and sometimes go to the horseshoe in tunica and play sometime... Just another sad story of some lucky fool. Who wins all his coin flips. I was there last summer and moneymaker was actually there playing cash. I swear he just have been playing on credit. He was bouncing around playing at a different table every 20 minutes .. He looked like shit and was real skinny
