idiots that "dont wanna play shorthanded"

im playing 4-8 at the bellagio friday andit around 8pm , im up a few bucks and 2 people leave for dinner, then someone else gets up, so 7 handed is fine, then someone leaves and its 6 handed and these 2 douchebags are like "im not playing".

WTF?!?!?!  I sat there and kept the game going 5 handed as not to break it up (i was up like 300 at the time i couldve just said see you later im taking my $ but i figured that be a dick thing to do)

 

so the game kind of fill sback up then it gets down to 5 again so 1 guy is about to leave and the 2 douchebags come back and sit and still say they arent playing ...at this point i was up 400 and just told them..."if you play we'd play 7 handed and it will fill up  but i already kept the game going for 2 hours , i made my $ if you dont wanna play thats fine "

I personally don't mind if it's down to around fivepeople...I would prefer a full table, but shorthanded you have a better opportunity to steal.  I wouldn't get up and leave, but then again I am a straight up degenerate.

yeah , i was playing 5 handed , i didnt care . eventually it fills up. it didnt hurt that i was flopping top 2 pair every 3rd hand but  to just get up when its 6 handed and whine about that you dont wanna play shorthanded is dumb.

 

i usually chop blinds but i would give the other guy the option if they wanted to play the hand when it was that short. i didnt really care, just wanted to keep playing.

 

left the place up 402 for the day . i left when the 2 whiny asses came back and still didnt want to post.

Personally i love short handed, deepstack too, not a big limit fan however which i know you play. I think it takes the most skill because you are forced to play more hands and in a cash game there is no blinds pressure and so you really see who the strong players are.

I like short handed NL 5 or 6 max, much prefer it to full ring. It's how I learnt the game.

It depends on the players and how much money they have.  If they are the type of players who can't fold a hand, you can make good money at shorthanded because you are more likely to bust them.  At the same time, you can make money against supertight players because you know where they are at all times.  Playing against losing players can be good too because they make a lot of bad calls.

 

Against tricky players, I would like the game to be full.  You can use you position and the players after him to control him.

 

So I try to adjust my play accordingly.      

Usually if someone doesn't like playing short handed it is because theyhave gotten burned in short handed play before (probably due to being a weak player).  A small hole in your game at a full table becomes a huge hole in short handed play.

I do not like to play short handed unless I feel I am a better player than the rest

playing 5-7 is probly a better deal in a ring game by far....

people who dont like short games probably dont know how to adjust their game to play effeciently, pussies. then some say i hate pocket aces , i get cracked all the time, yea when you mostly slow play them, or dont bet agressively enough, if you dont like the hand or game its because  you probably dont know how to play it. i hear the same shit in atlantic city all the time, and theyre basically telling you a weakness. dumb asses. good luck all.

I thought about this thread earlier today when the table I was at got down to five people for a half hour and I left....and left up $313

was the table 7 handed then 1 guy gets up and then some other wuss says "im not posting 6 handed"....... good day up 313...i havent seen a good day in 3+ weeks
