Halfway through the show and already hate the season lol. Selbst blows balls and should stick to tournaments. Since when does Peat have the money to play HSP (is he staked)? Norm is ehhh.

But for that amount of money, I can easily see Ivey folding and waiting for a better spot, as he is the best at the table by a mile.

Norm's performance last night? A respectable 6 of 10. He was a bit lost at times (as he admitted he would be in the article) and some of the jokes fell flat.
Gabe was a 10 though. There was no voice on TV I'd rather here that mixed humor and poker knowledge other than Gabe's.

He simply can't win against these online pros and the other top pros at the felt only (Doyle, Barry, Ivey, Lederer) are clearly better than him. Can't see why she would push on an amateur who couldn't get his money in fast enough with a raise out of position. That is usually a sign of weakness at lower limits but not at this table. This is 200K/500K min/max buy-in. These businessmen know what they are up against and know the sums being thrown around here. A poor play and bad misread that cost her 200K+.
2. Peat allegedly does well online although I've seen him lose several monster pots on both Poker After Dark and The Big Game. As a matter of fact, I don't remember him winning much at all.
HSP probably called him due to his name recognition, the FTP dispute and resulting lack of named players, and his ubiquity on other poker show cash games coupled with his unpredictability. This is guy not afraid to shove with any amount.
3. I love how the billionaires refuse to run it twice on all-ins. The pros get uncomfortable REAL fast! It's the right move by the way. If you are a favorite post-flop (they were) you don't lessen your chances of scooping the whole pot by running it twice. They appeared to by counseled on this topic.

He not only gives what he wins to charity, but matches what he loses and gives that amount as well! At this table....??? Wow...
