Do you make this call..........???

Playing in a 180 person multi table on Pokerstars...down to 4 people

 

Myself: 35Kish

Low stack: 9kish

one guy: 55k

Chip Leader: 110kish

 

blinds are 1.5k 3k....

 

Low stack on button moves all in...he seemed fairly loose, but you have ot put him on something decent id say

 

big stack next to me makes the call of 10k....he is inviting me in....

 

I have 96off...I want to make the call (try and knock him out with the other guy and check it down) but I also dont want to triple him up. It only costs me another 6k into the pot to what seems to be a mid 30's K pot...

 

I folded...would have 2 paired the river and beat small stacks 2 pair

 

P.s. that hand didnt cost me, but i ended up finishing 4th....

 

would you have called?

5:1 odds on your money with a good probability of holding two live cards. I would have seen a flop and hopefully checked it down with the other big stack to eliminate the all-in

Yeah that was a pretty bad fold, if he has 9k in chips then the pot is 13500 when he pushes, 21000 when the SB calls and then its only 6k more to you, about 3.5-1 on your money (where do you get 5:1 ) and most importantly is the chance to knock off a short stack. Unless you think you are worse than a 3.5-1 dog in the 3 way pot, you definitly gotta call there.

Its hindsight now...Being you were going to be the next lowest chip stack by 2:1 you had a great chance to gain a ton of chips on that hand....Terrible cards for you, but are you saying you got knocked out before that guy with 9K??? I am assuming he won the hand then and it was a bad play but who cares, learn from it for the next time

Yes I would have because I still wanted to know if I made the wrong or right play for future references. I just wasnt sure...
