Do Bad beats really even out playing online poker?

Do bad beats really even out playing online poker?  This is my question because I&#x27;m always told in the long run they will even out.  Back on April 6 I started keeping track of how many times I sucked out on players and how many times they sucked out on me.  The results below are only from sit and go tournaments because that&#x27;s all I play.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Good Suck Outs: 3&#xD;&#xA;Bad Suck Outs:   12&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;I&#x27;ll try and update the results every week.

nothing counts until the river, so even though you flop a straight, by the river there may be a flush, a higher straight out there, or a full boat. So your straight was nice and all but there are no consolation prizes.

I understand both of your points.  The only reason for me doing this is to see if the bad beats ever even out.  That&#x27;s it.  I&#x27;m not complaining or thinking in the past just always wanted to see what the total number is for both sides.

if ur a goood player and get your money in while your ahead majority of the time your going to have more suckouts against u than for u..

bad beats never even out because the "good" players never stay around to suck out as many times as the bad ones stick around to suck out on them

Since I&#x27;ve started playing poker all I ever hear is "Get you money in with the best hand."  Most of the time I get my money in with the best hand most of time it doesn&#x27;t work.  I might start keeping track of how many times my favored hand holds up along with how many times I&#x27;ve been sucked out on.  &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;I wish I kept track of that from the beginning.  If I had to guess I would say the percentage of my favored hand winning can&#x27;t be much higher then 50%, which is pathetic considering I&#x27;m a 70% favorite or better going into these hands.

However playing only sit and go&#x27;s there&#x27;s going to be times your short stacked and forced to go all in even if you don&#x27;t think you have the best hand.  However, you are right.  I am ahead much more then I&#x27;m behind.
