Covers Brothers, wish well to my friend Nick Sliwinski....
i have played with this guy a few times he is a decent player nothing great. you have to understand the caliber of play in pittsburgh compared to vegas (the big games and tournaments) its like the big sky conference compared to the pac 10. not surprised he won big in pittsburgh and is being thought of lightly in a big event. with that said its now anybodys game, i wish the kid all the best.

in that link walktheline posted it stated he called an all in on the turn with a gut shot which he hit on 5th street, i wonder how much he had to call to chase that gutter?
i thought it said someone else sucked out on him on that hand, i could be wrong though.

If it was for a small % of his chips, and if he had an ace which he felt may have been live if it hit, it could have been the right call. You've gotta gamble sometimes, if you don't wanna gamble you likely won't go much farther anyways.

He wasn't hitting it big in Pittsburgh.... he was getting crushed at the PA Poker tourneys... that is what makes this so much better...
