Could I have played this hand anymore like a douche?

1/3 NL. I'm in the BB with about $700 in front of me, I get 4d,6d. It is checked all the way around to me and there are five players going to the flop. Flop comes 5c, 7s, jh. It is checked to me, I make it $18 and I get two callers. Turn comes 8c. I make it $50 and I get one caller. River comes 9s and I make it $100, my opponent makes it $300 and like the Victoria's Secret lingerie wearing box I am I fold...I mean I watched this guy play all night (like 6 hours) and was not a very good player...I just did not want to put three dollars in the middle and watch him roll a 10....but now however I would gladly pay that just to see if that cocksucker made a move on me.

I would've definitely folded in your case.
