Friday went down to atlantic city to spend the weekend back today.
Good things first great establishment state of the art newly renovated clean.
nice people for service had lunch at the bread and beans rueben sandwich was excellent
Race Book was crowded saturday every terminal bar seat and standing room reserved but It was Kentucky derby Race book cost 4.50 had no enteries for speed figures for the final races run woods , santa anita ect. but i already had my picks in hand .
Boxing 30.00 a seat was sold out but a little weird 'cause there might be tickets at 8 speech given by clerk, i went to a sports bar in the tropicana to see The Mayweather pacio battle which turned into a sugar ray vs roberto duran without the serious clashes. Mayweather won by a decision and simply out performed Pacman.
But this is the poker thread sooo here it is Sat down at a 1-2 dollar table to sharpen a better short stack stradegy. hand 5 i raise with qj of clubs to 8 six callers flop went blank blank blank I check opponent raises a couple of callers then i muck the dealer flashes two players at the other end of table my hand kind of took me back next deal that dealer was moved new dealer comes in
I on button called the sb then notices he only was delt one card. there was action around to him think bet was at 4 the boss was called over the man delt one card forfieted the hand and blind I know it was a buck but still not sure why miss deal wasnt declared.
next couple of hands women playing with her cell phone never called the blind flop comes check all around turn comes she bets other players were like she isnt in the hand the bet stands....
Finally i kind of had enough with the sloppiness of all pklayed really tight new deck comes up cut delt. opponent raises 10 i call kj of spades two other callers come in pot at 42 flop k hearts 10 of spades four of spades I ship 98. fold call ak off turn 9 river a i got up and walked out they called me back left my chip protector i gues could care less by then about a quarter left went back to my rooom.
home again great weekend all in all ... but will be playing poker else where when i go back to ac.
