Back from a session

I am back from a tourney and cash game at my poker club that i play at. The tourney i got knocked out wit bullshit. Dude called 3 times the blind raise with K-3 and i had a k-Q. Board comes all low cards. He bets i called whole way down and the dude paired his 3. Whatever i hate tournaments i am cash guy.

 

 

The cash game i did not lose 1 hand the whole night. One hand i chopped and i won the hand it is just the board came with a straight. I won $700 playing 1-2 in 2 hours. I quickly cashed no reason to give my money back and i am not gready.

 

Now today i collect 600 from my bookie. I hit 6 in row. Not a bad week. finally i am turning myself around.

I took a beating for a while but i am being smart this time. Putting a g in the bank and starting back over from 300. This way i do not give it all back. I am a college kid so i am trying to save money.

 

Can't tell you how many times I've said that myself... only to have to dip into said "savings" when things get tough or you lose a few ballgames, or have some losing poker sessions

I went last night and i lost my first 150. I went all in with 80 in front of me with top pair q-10. The guy had aces and caught the case ace on the river. Bought back in for 125 and wound up breaking Even.

i also won 200 betting on the jets on monday night.

I lost 1-3 in college bowl games. Last night taking LSU saved me. I had oklahoma,miami, and arkansas. I have never seen teams dominate like these 3 teams did and lose the game or win by 1 point. It is bullshit.

Does anyone ever lose at covers?

raging i not only lose at cover i am confident i can outlose anyone at any online sportsbook or poker site... i like how everyone here always gets back to even... maybe bookies arent getting that rich after all

 

 

I lost last night 250. THe first game i sat in was a 5-5 500 max game. I played 2 hands in two hours and lost 500. I lost the first hand with someone spiking there draw against top pair. Then i lost a pot wit three q's with a king kicker to someone with 3 queens with an ace kicker. So i left that game and went to play in my 1-2 game. i bought in for 100 and got real hot. i was up 100 bucks total for the night and then i made some bad plays that i sill regret today. I blew up at the end. I wind up losing 250 for the night. Not that bad i can deal with it. Before i went to the 1-2 game i was down 500

 

And yes i admit i do lose alot but i keep track in a book of wins and losses and i was in the green this year for gambling.

 

I have learnt to lay off when u are not hot and when u are hot to not up ur bets because the streak can turn at anytime. I do this for fun and not for a living.

and i just said i only won one game out of the 4 i played in college football

First i lost all the nfl games i bet. Then i bet ohio state and I went on monday and lost again with 3 q's with a king kicker. This time the kid flopped a full house. NOt a good night. I cooled off. Time for me to give it a break and come back fresh. Do any of you guys do this. When u are running cold take a break.

 

 

Time to take a break for 2 weeks until i go to foxwoods for my bday. i gave back most of the money i won. I am up like 200 bucks.
