Are You Addicted to Poker

I hope I never get to this point with poker, I definitely like women more than poker

 

fuck that shit.  i bet that bitch isnt complaining when he returns with a lot of winnings and takes her out places.  the only thing that worries me after reading that, is that it is quite possible that the woman who made that post is my girlfriend

Won $550.00 the other night and gave my gf $150.00 of it. She always gets her taste when I win a modest amount or more.

No, im not addicted to poker.. maybe slightly to gambling in general, but usually not too bad.  I have a friend that plays and thinks poker way to much.  He reads all the books, and he trys to learn everything he can about poker.  When i play with him he always wants to play for small amounts when nobody else really wants to.  When you want to play all the time even for amounts that arent excessive... doesnt that consider you to be addicted to poker?

At one time I was. Routinly played cards until 4:00AM on work nights a couple of times went straight from the casino to work. One time I knew better but wanted to play live NL. Drove to the 105 miles to the casino when it was -14 degrees, left the casino at 3:00AM car barely started. I got about 5 miles down the road and the temp needle was pegged on H do to a frozen radiator. I had to start and stop the car for an hour an half before it was unfrozen. On the drive home my feet got so cold I had to stop at 3 gas stations just to warm up. I just to not get in enough poker on the weekends I would play cards from friday night until sunday morning.

 

Now the urge has subsided as I have only played card 3 times since Aug 2.
