Thinking about playing in a few tourneys at this year's WSOP. Probably the $565 buyin and the $1500 buy in starting on June 02. Anyone else thinking about playing this year?
The $565 Colossal tourney has a guaranteed million dollar payout for first place this year. Not bad for only a few hundred bucks buyin.

Played in the Colossal last year. A lot of people in it, over 20,000 when all the flights were added up. You have to get pretty lucky to work through that field.

Yeah wsop time again. Banff boys heading down soon. Played in the colossus last year, and although I don't think it was set up right last, but it still favoured all those guys that said yeah cheap buyin, I believe the bottom payout was alittle higher than bottom payout from other tourneys, so it lets all these newbies with dreams to get a taste. No doubt it will be set up better/different this year, still a fun tourney and any field at wsop, you will need to get lucky, dodge bullets, and run hot to run deep, colossus no exception. Some good low limit tourneys at planet Hollywood ( Goliath ) and ( extravaganza ) at Venetian, super sweet poker room. Nothing compares to sitting in one of the rooms at the rio though. Gl all.
