anyone ever try this

last week me and my buddy went to the wings game and went over to greektown poker room to play and screw around for an hour or so playing on a couple hundred each. we were fairly buzzed so we went in and said lets play like we have no clue what we are doing, ask the guys next to us for help, just be flat out stupid like we have never played the game or have not played much at all..

first two hands i take the pot and i am betting every hand somewhat small, i bluff a few and take some losses..my buddy bets out of turn and asks stupid questions (doesnt slow up the game) that looks so obvious that we are a bit tipsy and completely lost on some of the rules. anyway, these guys are trying to read us like a book and can get no read on us, if they did they think we are just rookies that know nothing.

anyway, my buddy won about $350 and i took in $200 and we tapped two guys out. has anyone ever acted clueless or we were just lucky? it seemed like we had em all confused and frustrated.

i must say i gave the guy next to us helping us $25 each, he was a good guy.

I have never done it. But there is a classic true story about this old woman who used to play in LA.

Before she was "known" she would sit down bet out of turn, raise less then the minimum, check after someone bet etc etc and she was a VERY good player. She BURIED a few people in some pots when she had the nuts or close to it and they were not far behind

Good ole Greektown lol.Ive played there for like 10 years!Lately ive just mostly been playing in charitys closer to home.Im gonna act like a jackass drunk rookie next time I play somewhere soon and Ill let you know how it goes lol!!!!What city are you from?

I think it would take away you chance of bluffing as people will think you have no idea what you are doing and player weaker cards/hands but can help pay you off more when you have a big hand.
