Another minimum reraise situation

was playing 2/5 N/L

 

a limper(tight), a raiser(to $25, another tight player), I call with AhQd, another limper(tight also)

 

flop Qc 4h 2h

 

check, raiser bets 50.  I make it 125 total.  2 other players fold.   Back to the raiser, she raise me 75. 

 

I sit there and think that we had the same hand.  I saw her peek at her hand(maybe checking for a heart).  I was definately going to push it, but don't know when.  Should I push it now to represent a set?  Should I push it on the turn with the case Ah?  So I push all my money in (535) because I was afraid that the heart might not come on the turn. 

 

I push all in and she thought about it for 5 minutes.  She finally calls.  She turned over the Ac Qh. 

 

turn was a 5h(i was very exited).  river was a 2.  split pot.

do you think if you called time on her she would've called.....5 mins is a long ass time to let someone think about a hand

 

i usually call time on someone if it takes about a min to think about it, so they get another min or 30 sec's to think some more...thats enough time.  you had to think she had same hand or worse like KQ having takin so long to call, or that was one hella slow roll if she had a set.

Why would you call clock on someone, unless maybe if you are bluffing? When they are thinking that long you are almost always going to have them beat so why take away the chance of having them talk themselves into a call?

hes talking about getting runner hearts and he was afraid he wouldnt get the chance to semi-bluff the flush draw, im guessing, if the heart doesnt fall on the turn.

If the heart falls on the turn(making a possible flush), I could move-in knowing that she didn't have the nuts because I have the ace of heart.  It's a move that I seldom use.

 

But like I said, if the heart didn't come on the turn, I couldn't make that move.   

Well, you said she was a tight player.  Not sure I want to put all my chips in the pot when she could have qq, kk, aa, all which dominate you.  Personally, I hate calling raises from tight players with AQ.  If she was tight like you said she could have had you dominated, yet you thought about pushing.  Interesting

insight, I just wanted to point out that a mininum reraise is usually weak.  I already mention this before.  What did you think about the case Ace move?
