America's Cardroom is just awful

I've heard such great reviews about this card room from members on this site and also online and I just don't get it.  I've only been there a couple months and there's very little that impresses me.  Is there ever a day when their site isn't under construction.  There's server updates 5 times a day!!!  Every time I try and play all the tables are shut down.  Maybe its just bad timing on my part but I feel like its constantly being updated. 

I play a lot of sit n go tournaments and one thing that really pisses me off is they don't increase the blinds after a certain number of hands but after a time limit.  When there's players who don't play attention or play multiple tables you end up getting screwed.  On average you see like 4 or 5 hands per level which is about half what it should be. 

Also can they get the download version up and running within this year?  It was promised to be up on January 1st now its pushed back a month.  Why set the date if your not sure you can meet the deadline?  I wouldn't be this upset but I can't stand this java version.  It slows down my computer and occasionally freezes up 20-30 seconds in a middle of a tournament. 

Am I missing something?  Someone please enlighten me.

I would like to switch sites but I don't know where to go.  I like the combo sportsbook/poker sites but they're aren't too many left.  I've tried Bodog and I'm not a fan, same with WSEX.  I would like to join Sportsbook.com but their poker has just opened and they're aren't a lot of players yet.  Maybe I'm just too picky..
