almost folded quads ...

i get dealt pcket 5's so i raise to 8 bucks (1-2NL game) 2 callers ..so for some reason the #8 was in my head and i think i have pocket 8's. flop is 5,5,10 i actually lead out and bet for 10 bucks because im thinking my pocket 8s may be good....lady next to me calls. then a K shows up , i check , she bets 20 i hold my cards out in front of me about to fold thinking " my 8s are no good" and she sees them and shes like wow you flopped that and im like "oh shit i have pocket 5's !!! so i just called and then checked to her on the end.

 

i won the pot and got 100 for flopping quads and the table got 25 bucks each

 

but WTF ?!?!?!?  i cant believe i was ready to muck them

 

 

I won like 400 bucks + that 100

yeah , i know. i cant believe i did that  and the lady i beat in the hand couldve said "hey he exposed his cards is his hand dead" but she didnt . i didnt knwo if i should give her her $ back for the hand or something. i felt bad. she won som big hands later from people so i felt not as bad.

i felt like an idiot anyway, still do

 

thankfully i won that day or i wouldve been the asshole that lost and almost folded quads...rather than the asshole that won..........
