Playing a good really loose cash game, 2-5 and playing tight the whole night.  I am under the gun and get aces.  Limp and someone raises to 35.  Call, Call, Call.... Reraise to 135.  I reraise to 400.  He thinks for about a second and goes all in for 1100.  I have 1700 in front of me and reluctantly call knowing that I always lose this race.  King on flop.  King on turn.  Hits quads.  I rarely win in big pots with Aces against Kings.  Kinda down now, just wanted to share a bad story.  Sure everyone else has one similar but I can't win that race in a tourney or cash game for big money.  Finished 15th in PP millions.  Chip leader and I are almost dead even, all in preflop.  AA for me vs KK.  He hits 4 card flush.  I profit from the tourney and see he won the whole thing the next day.  Lost so much money on these hands and I see bad players continue to profit in these games.  Advice??

No advice just sympathy for your bad luck. Just tell yourself you were way ahead when all the money went in, which is all you can do.

just keep playing the same way, it will even out eventually. Ive had shitty streaks like that too and it comes and goes, just remember, what makes the best players is the ability to consistently be in with the best of it.

That's not a race, that's a massacre....in your favor.  If you turn down getting your money in as a 80% favorite to win a hand, you'll never win at cards.

Right play....wrong result.  Always sucks, but you can only control the things you can control and you played 'em the right way obviously.

I played 2 sit and go's last night and did not take a bad beat in either game.  1st and 3rd.  I'm gonna play right now so I expect it's payback time.

You have to try and remember the times when your hands DO hold up because it does happen....even on-line.

The odds will balance itself out. Are you sure you only remember the bad beats and not the other big pots you won holding KK vs. AA?

I'm with you on the frustration point right now.....it's been hard and I've had a few bad beats and run into some bad luck. The best thing to do is just get away for a bit. A day or week, it doesn't matter just stop playing and come back with a frresh mind and outlook. That's what I'm doing.

Bad beats happen and even though they are brutal to take......especially when they come in waves, it does even out and then some. But it's tough...we all feel your pain.

Don't limp with aces.  Wouldn't have changed your outcome, but still I think that's a bad play (or not a fan of it atleast) even though all the money eventually went in the middle.

But like its been said, keep getting your money in with the best of it, eventually it will work out!

nothing you can really do about that it's just bad luck.  But if you had raised your aces you might have lost less money.

    a) If you raised he might have just called and re-raised the flop
    b) If you raised and he re-raised you could have just called
    c) If you raised and he re-raised then you re-raised all in he probably would have still called but at least your putting the pressure on him.

By limping in he had pure confidence that the best hand you could have is not AA.  But obviously when your holding aces and your decision is all in or fold you can NEVER fold.
