A Serious question about Sheikahn...

What constitutes him as a pro?

 

He Doesnt make good reads

 

I'm not gonna go so far as to say he hasnt won a bracelet because im not sure but he hasnt won anything notable

 

He isnt a good player even

 

Is it because he placed one year in the main event and enlightened the viewers to a lady who gives women and poker a bad name (you all know who i am talking about, you know, her famous quote is "i dont have the nuts (with kj in her hand) but i dont think you have the nuts either (sheiky does in fact have pocket aces)"

 

Anyway i have never seen him do anything but lose in high stakes poker except for once when he flopped top set queens and got the minimum out of it, is he what the future of poker is coming to?

I do not know if he has won anything noteable but I have not seen him win.  I do not care for him and don't think of him as being any good.  I think he is on TV alot because of his mouth, he always seems to be trying to start controversy. 

 

I definitely hope that he is not what the future of poker is coming to and I doubt that he will be around for the long haul.  But, you never know.

he has money and he plays poker and he is a docuhebag so they put him on TV...thats what makes him a pro...i think he owns tatoo stores or whatever here in vegas so he has $

 

Yeah i agree that what we have seen of him on tv is pretty bad but lets not forget how small a sample of hands that is. I am sure he can play the game when he wants to. Kinda like Tiffany Williamson, that episode really gave her a bad name. She is actually a pretty decent player believe it or not, i mean she is a team poker stars player. You can't base ur judgement of their entire career off of what you see on tv.

 

Not saying he is amazing but i am sure he is better than you think and he is a true gambler. I personally don't like the way he acts on or away from the table but i have some respect for his skills.

Sean is a businessman first, poker player ... ah, fuck. Who even knows? Sheik is pretty damn bad when it comes to poker and this is coming from a 5/10 NL nit.

he owns a couple of tattoo shops and fucks around with poker, he has the coin so why not play.
